Abstract

This study aims to find out how the performance appraisal conducted by SDIT At-Taqwa 2 Surabaya, on educators and their educational staff. Educators and educational staff are an important part of the running of the educational process, where it must be able to run well. The method used in writing this article is descriptive qualitative method of data collection and literature study. With the analysis that has been carried out by researchers, the following results are found, 1) What are the steps taken by the school principal in determining qualified teaching and educational staff. 2) Obstacles encountered in the process of assessing educators and educational staff, namely the difficulty of male teaching staff. 3) How do educators overcome the difficulties experienced by students. 4) Factors in the success of education at SDIT At-Taqwa 2. 5) There are teaching staff but not in accordance with the required criteria. 6) There are some educators who cannot recite properly and correctly 7) Institutions that are still relatively new and lack experience in learning. 8) Almost all teaching staff have not been certified by the education office. And so forth.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the development of the curriculum in a school and what are the obstacles in the implementation of the curriculum. As well as how the evaluation is done in dealing with existing obstacles. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods and literature review systems. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the curriculum has not been evenly distributed but is going well with the P5 activities.

Abstract

Artikel ini menguraikan pentingnya kurikulum dalam meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan membentuk negara yang cerdas. Kurikulum tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pedoman dalam pendidikan, tetapi juga menjadi dasar dalam proses pembelajaran di semua tingkatan pendidikan. Sistem pendidikan di Indonesia telah mengalami berbagai perubahan dan penyempurnaan, termasuk peluncuran Kurikulum 2013 dan revisinya pada tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Studi dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah 20 yang mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka sebagai fokus penelitian. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan guru serta analisis dokumen terkait kurikulum merdeka. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan guru yang terlibat dalam pengembangan dan pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka, serta siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan tersebut. Program Merdeka Belajar, yang menekankan kebebasan dan pemikiran kreatif, memperkenalkan program sekolah penggerak untuk menciptakan generasi pembelajar sepanjang hayat. Pentingnya peran guru sebagai penggerak dalam keberhasilan program ini juga ditekankan. Kurikulum Merdeka menawarkan variasi kegiatan belajar mengajar yang beragam untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik, dengan fokus pada materi esensial dan pengembangan kompetensi.
