Abstract

This research reviews attentional distraction factors in mobile phone-based language learning and proposes the Interactive Model of Attentional Distraction Management in learning as a new theoretical framework. Distractions from multitasking, notifications and social media apps were shown to reduce attention as well as memory function, hindering important cognitive processes in language acquisition. Individual factors such as age, gender and experience also affect the ability to manage distractions, which reinforces the urgency of adaptive attentional management. This new theoretical framework offers an interactive and personalised solution with three main components: cognitive, psychological and social environmental elements. Mobile phone-based applications can adjust learning settings in real-time, providing better user control over distractions. This model is expected to improve learners' focus, maintain attention, and support the effectiveness of technology-based language learning.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an memiliki peran yang penting karena posisinya sebagai sumber utama dalam ajaran Islam sehingga tidak dapat terlepas dari fokus pendidikan agama Islam. Sebagai seorang muslim mempelajari dan mengamalkan isi Al-Qur’an menjadi suatu kewajiban yang harus dilakukan. Sehingga dengan ikut berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di Madrasah Diniyyah Roudlotul Mukhlisin menjadi salah satu bagian dari upaya mahasiswa KKM UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang untuk mempraktikkan nilai-nilai Islam di tengah masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari penerapan metode An-Nashr sebagai media dalam memahami terjemahan Al-Qur’an oleh siswa. Madrasah Diniyyah Roudlotul Mukhlisin adalah salah satu madrasah yang menggunakan metode An-Nashr dengan pola 4-3-2-1 dalam proses pembelajarannya. Metode An-Nashr adalah metode menghafal yang dilakukan dengan mengulang-ulang kata per kata dan berirama. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode An-Nashr dalam proses pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di Madrasah Diniyyah Roudlotul Mukhlisin sangat efektif. Hal ini terbukti dari dampak positif yang diberikan kepada para siswanya yang mencakup pada perkembangan kemampuannya yang signifikan, khususnya dalam menerjemahkan dan memahami makna setiap kata dalam Al-Qur’an dengan baik.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of hypocrisy (nifaq) in the Qur’an and compares it with Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of persona in analytical psychology. The main objective is to identify the similarities and differences between hypocrisy as a moral–spiritual phenomenon and persona as an adaptive psychological mechanism. Employing a qualitative approach through library research and comparative textual analysis, this study draws on primary sources such as the Qur’an, classical and modern exegeses, and Jung’s works. The findings reveal that both nifaq and persona describe a dissonance between one’s inner and outer selves. However, they differ fundamentally in nature: nifaq in the Qur’an is morally destructive, rooted in deceit and ill intent, whereas persona in Jung’s framework is adaptive, becoming harmful only when the individual loses authenticity. The study underscores the importance of honesty, self-reflection, and the integration of spiritual and social identities in developing authentic human character in the modern era.
