Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan kemampuan empati anak usia dini melalui model bimbingan kelompok berbasis role play. Penelitian kualitatif ini melibatkan 12 anak usia 5 tahun di sebuah RA. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan anak dan guru, serta dokumentasi kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui role play, anak-anak dapat belajar untuk memahami perasaan orang lain, mengambil perspektif yang berbeda, serta merespons emosi orang lain dengan lebih tepat. Model bimbingan kelompok ini juga memberikan kesempatan bagi anak untuk berinteraksi sosial dan mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif. This research aims to describe the process of developing empathy skills in early childhood through a role play-based group guidance model. This qualitative research involved 12 children aged 5 years in a RA. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with children and teachers, as well as documentation of activities. The research results show that through role play, children can learn to understand other people's feelings, take different perspectives, and respond more appropriately to other people's emotions. This group guidance model also provides opportunities for children to interact socially and develop effective communication skills.
