Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seperti apa kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, profesional, dan kompetensi sosial guru, serta apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat Kompetensi Guru yang ada di SMP Kristen Tondangow. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi pegadogik, kepribadian, profesional, dan kompetensi sosial guru di SMP Kristen Tondagow sudah sangat baik. Faktor Pendukung Kompetensi Guru yang ada di SMP Kristen Tondangow yaitu adanya fasilitas pendukung program pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru memberikan supervasi kepada guru juga memberikan kesempatan guru mengikuti program kegiatan pengembangan. Faktor penghambat kompetensi guru seperti fasilitas yang sudah ada namun jumlahnya tidak sebanding dengan jumlah guru, selain itu kompetensi guru yang ada SMP Kristen Tondangow banyak yang belum diperbarui karna kesempatan untuk mengikuti pelatihan terbatas dan terkadang banyak guru yang malas mengikuti pelatihan kompetensi. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi guru, Faktor Pendukung, Faktor Penghambat     ABSTRACT This study aims to determine what the pedagogical, personality, professional, and social competences of teachers are like, as well as what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of Teacher Competence in Tondangow Christian Middle School. This research method uses a qualitative method. The results of the study indicate that the pedagogical, personality, professional, and social competences of teachers in Tondangow Christian Middle School are very good. Supporting Factors for Teacher Competence in Tondangow Christian Middle School are the existence of supporting facilities for teacher professional competence development programs, providing supervision to teachers, and also providing opportunities for teachers to participate in development activity programs. Inhibiting factors for teacher competence such as existing facilities but the number is not comparable to the number of teachers, in addition, many of the teacher competencies in Tondangow Christian Middle School have not been updated because the opportunity to participate in training is limited and sometimes many teachers are lazy to participate in competency training.
