Abstract

The post-pandemic era of COVID-19 still leaves crucial problems for vocational education (VE), including mechanical engineering education (MEE). Practical learning readiness (PLR), which includes the dimensions of readiness for supporting knowledge, physical and psychological conditions in students, is a fundamental problem that must be solved through systematic mapping. Therefore, this research aims to measure the level of readiness in these three dimensions. In addition, we also examine the differences between dimensions and indicators and test the determination in constructing the PLR to determine systematic problem-solving. The survey was conducted on 386 MEE students, but the final number was 339, considering that 47 of them did not have good data rationale level criteria. The results of the descriptive analysis confirmed that the psychological condition and supporting knowledge had a low level, while the physical condition had a high level. The results of the comparison test show that the three are generally not significantly different, although there are notes in several indicators. Although all dimensions contribute significantly to constructing PLR, psychological conditions contribute the highest. This indicates that low psychological conditions are the first step for VE to suffer. Furthermore, several notes related to the decrease in knowledge-supporting practice are also the second effort that MEE must make in boosting PLR in its students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Media atau bahan ajar yang dapat dipakai untuk proses belajar adalah E-modul atau elektronik modul. E-modul lebih menarik dibandingkan modul cetak konvensional karena E-modul dapat di pelajari dengan praktis karena berbentuk elektorik dan terdapat tambahan video pembelajaran di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangakn E-modul sistem pendingin untuk siswa SMK kelas X. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development model Sugiyono dengan 10 tahapan pengembangan yaitu: 1) Mencari potensi masalah, 2) Mengumpulkan informasi, 3) Desain produk, 4) Validasi desain, 5) Perbaikan desain, 6) Uji produk, 7) Revisi produk, 8) Uji coba lapangan, 9) Revisi produk, 10) Penyebaran produk. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini memakai angket skala likert dengan empat varian jawaban. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penilaian ahli materi dosen diperoleh skor 94 dan ahli media guru di peroleh dkor 111 dari skor maksimal 128 termasuk dalam kategori “Layak”, Penilaian ahli media diperoleh skor 145 dari skor maksimal 188, kategori “Layak”. Uji coba skala kecil 5 siswa diperoleh skor 83,4 dan skala besar 27 siswa diperoleh skor 83,7 dari skor maksimal 100, kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa E-modul layak digunakan untuk bahan pembelajaran system pendingin mesin otomotif. Kata Kunci: Pengambangan E-Modul, Media Pembelajaran, Sistem Pendingin Mesin.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Determine the adequacy of lathe workshop facilities at SMK BinaKarya 1 Karanganyar; (2) Assess the feasibility of lathe workshop infrastructure at SMKBina Karya 1 Karanganyar; and (3) Evaluate the adequacy of facilities and infrastructureas a whole. This research uses quantitative methods. The tools utilized in the researchinclude observation, interviews, notes, and observation sheets with assessment checklistsand assessment scale templates. The data analysis technique employed is quantitativedescriptive analysis. The object of this research is the facilities and infrastructure of a lathemachine workshop, particularly the construction of the machine shop, machine shopfurniture (workbenches, measuring tools, lathes, mills, grinders, instructions, andmaintenance), processing equipment, and teaching media in machine and other equipmentworkshops. These aspects are evaluated based on the standards of facilities andinfrastructure as outlined in the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation Number 34of 2018 regarding National Education Standards. The results of this research show: (1) Thefeasibility level for building machine factory infrastructure is 94.11% (very feasible); (2)The feasibility of facilities such as tables and chairs, factory equipment, props, and otherequipment is 88.58% (very feasible); and (3) The overall observation results indicate thatthe level of machine shop facilities and infrastructure is 90.07% (very feasible).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of changing online to offline learning on students' learningmotivation and digital literacy abilities at Tamansiswa Vocational School, Yogyakarta. This research is research usingquantitative methods. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire or questionnaire. The data analysis methoduses descriptive analysis, but before descriptive analysis, prerequisite analysis tests are carried out first. Descriptiveresearch results show that student learning motivation when changing from online to offline learning is 43.4%, witha known R square value of 0.434. Students' digital literacy abilities when changing from online to offline learning are25.5%, with an R square value of 0.255. With these results, the change from online to offline learning increasesstudents' learning motivation and digital literacy skills at Tamansiswa Vocational School, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Explain the job sheet for class XI motorbike electrical maintenance practices at PIRISleman Vocational School; 2) find out the feasibility of the job sheet for carrying out electrical maintenance for classXI motorbikes at PIRI Sleman Vocational School after it is developed. This research is research and development(R&D) with a 4-D development model (four-D models) which consists of the Define, Design, Development,Disseminate stages. development media in the form of a Job Sheet. The research subjects were class XI TBSMstudents at PIRI Sleman Vocational School. The object of this research is the Job Sheet on motorbike electricalmaintenance practices. This research and development resulted in 1) job sheet on electrical maintenance practices forJupiter Z motorbikes which contains the understanding and function of each Jupiter Z motorbike electrical system,how each component of the Jupiter Z motorbike electrical system works, wiring diagrams and how each works. -EachJupiter Z motorcycle electrical system, link/QR code for the circuit for each Jupiter Z motorcycle electrical system,inspection steps for each Jupiter Z motorcycle electrical system, and data table of inspection results. 2) the job sheeton electrical maintenance practices for Jupiter z motorbikes was declared very feasible by media experts, materialexperts and respondents/students. data obtained from the media expert validator test was 97.33% in the very goodcategory, from the material expert validator test 95.18% was in the very good category, according to students 85.47%was in the very good category.
