Abstract

Distribution of electricity is often interrupted which can result in the process of distribution of power to the consumer becoming abnormal. Therefore, an analysis of the cause of disturbance of the electricity distribution network needs to be carried out. This research is conducted using the method of Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) because it is an effective method in determining the cause of the disturbance and with the help of Microsoft Exel as well as manual calculations. The results of the research obtained that which is the main factor that causes the occurrence of the disruption in the system of distribution of electric energy in PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bulukumba ULP Panrita Lopi is due to disruptions in the distribution equipment, animal activity, human activity, material interference, error of installation and nature interferences. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are six factors that cause the disturbance of the process of electricity distribution to consumption, then become a priority for PLN based on the percentage of disruption occurred.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design an Android-based stock management mobile application and to find out the results of testing the Android-based stock management application. This application uses the type of research is Research and Development (R&D), which is a process or step to develop a new product or improve an existing product. This study was conducted to create a stock management application that can help store employees in stocking goods. The results of this study produce a product in the form of a stock management application that can make it easier for store employees to get stock information. This research was conducted at Wardim Store. The research data was obtained by administering questionnaires, interviews and documentation. This system was tested using ISO 25010 with 4 characteristics, namely functional suitability, portability, usability, and performance efficiency. Functional suitability testing was carried out by two expert lecturers as system validators and it was found that this application was suitable for use. Portability testing was carried out by observing the output results produced using Android smartphones in various versions, the results obtained showed that this stock management application system ran well on several versions of Android. Usability testing carried out by store employees was in the Very Good category. Performance efficiency testing is done using APPTIM by measuring real-time data for the CPU used, which is 100%, 287 Mb memory when the application is used. The developed stock management application can be used by employees at Wardim Store.

Abstract

Advancements in information technology have driven the development of home security systems based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This study aims to design a home security system using ESP32-CAM, multisensors, and Telegram for real-time monitoring. The system features face recognition using the Haar Cascade and LBPH algorithms, along with DHT22 and MQ-2 sensors to monitor temperature, humidity, and hazardous gases. The development method used is the prototype model. Testing results showed a face recognition accuracy of 95.31% and the ability to detect temperatures above 40°C and gas concentrations exceeding 300 PPM. The system performs optimally at a distance of 35–150 cm but is limited by extreme lighting and facial angle variations. In conclusion, the system enhances home surveillance effectiveness through real-time monitoring and reliable remote access control
