Abstract

This research specifically examines the effect of primary colors on working memory in students at the Muhammadiyah University of Bandung. Many studies have been conducted to examine this, one of which is that color can increase concentration and affect working memory. This study used an experimental method involving 40 students who were divided into 2 groups. 20 students in the control group were given colorless images, and 20 students in the experimental group were given colorless images. Participants in this study were aged 17-23 years and did not have color blindness. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis is rejected, there is no effect of color exposure on working memory.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to determine the level of empathy for victims of natural disasters in students in Bandung Raya. Empathy Awareness of the feelings, needs and concerns of others (Goleman, 1998). Empathy is the root of caring and love in the emotional relationship of everyone in adaptation to other people's feelings. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a non-probability sampling technique, namely by using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that Higher Education Students who have empathy towards victims of natural disasters are in the high level (18,2%), the medium level (67.3%), and the low level (14.5%).
