Abstract

Guru diharapkan dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar peserta didik. Mereka dapat mengintegrasikan pengetahuan terkini ke dalam metode pengajaran mereka, menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang dinamis dan relevan seperti penggunaan Web 2.0. Secara kolektif, Web 2.0 terdiri dari aplikasi online atau aplikasi yang dirancang untuk mendukung konten yang dibuat pengguna. Meskipun aplikasi Web 2.0 sering menyertakan berbagai macam kemampuan, fungsi penting meliputi kontribusi kolaboratif, jaringan sosial, dan Mashup. Berdasarkan observasi awal yang dilakukan terhadap guru-guru di UPT SPF SDN Cendrawasih I Makassar sebagai langkah awal kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM), ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru, seperti kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap pengguaan platform pembelajaran berbasis Web 2.0. Sehingga Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman mengenai penggunaan perangkat web 2.0 dalam pembelajaran untuk guru UPT SPF SDN Cendrawasih I Makassar sebagai mitra kegiatan pengabdian. Metode Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di UPT SPF SDN Cendrawasih I Makassar dilakukan dengan pendekatan terstruktur dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan guru pada sekolah mitra. Pengabdian yang dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan pengguaan platform pembelajaran berbasis Web 2.0. Pelaksanaan program pelatihan dilakukan dengan sistem kolaborasi antara dosen dan mahasiswa dari Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar sebagai narasumber. Setiap narasumber menyajikan program pelatihan sesuai desain program yang telah dirumuskan pada tahap sebelumnya. Penjabaran pelaksanaan dan dokumentasi program kegiatan pengguaan platform pembelajaran berbasis Web 2.0 oleh masing-masing narasumber.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the acquisition of new vocabulary and improve the students' knowledge in constructing new vocabulary among second-grade students at Public Elementary School 2 Kelara, Jeneponto Regency, through the use of Lift-the-Flap Book media based on the Whole Language approach. This research is categorized as a development study. The research procedures include a preliminary study and information gathering, planning, development of the initial product format, initial field testing, first product revision, operational testing, and final product revis. The subjects of this study were second-grade students at Public Elementary School 2 Kelara, Jeneponto Regency. The results showed that the use of the media was effective in supporting students in constructing new vocabulary. This effectiveness is reflected in the increase in the students’ average scores, where the pre-test score of 57.5 rose to 83.3 in the post-test, representing an average improvement of 25.8 points. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of Lift-the-Flap Book media based on the Whole Language approach is highly valid, practical, and effective in improving both the acquisition and construction of new vocabulary among second-grade students at Public Elementary School 2 Kelara Jeneponto Regency.

Abstract

The use of the Word Card Playing Method is one way to solve problems in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of using the word card playing method on the ability to read early in the Indonesian language subject in grade II students of SD Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru. This study uses a Pre-experimental research type. The population in this study were grade II students of SD Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru consisting of 22 students. The data collection technique used in this study was a pretest and posttest in the form of a reading test. The data analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive data analysis technique and an inferential technique which includes a normality test, a homogeneity test and a hypothesis test. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the average pretest score is 59.32 while the average posttest score is 77.73. The paired sample T-test test shows a significant value (2- Tailed) = 0.000 <0.05. Based on the results obtained, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the word card playing method has an effect on the ability to read early in students at SD Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru.
