Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari bagaimana penggunaan media sosial memengaruhi keinginan siswa untuk belajar. Di Indonesia, generasi muda, khususnya pelajar, membentuk 34,40% dari total pengguna internet. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan analisis konten. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial seperti WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, dan TikTok sangat membantu motivasi belajar siswa. Penggunaan media sosial juga dapat mendorong kreativitas, meningkatkan akses ke informasi, dan mendorong kolaborasi. Namun, penggunaan berlebihan juga dapat menyebabkan masalah, seperti gangguan konsentrasi dan kecanduan, yang dapat menghambat pembelajaran. Kebutuhan akademik, motivasi internal, dan pengaruh teman sebaya adalah beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kebiasaan penggunaan media sosial. Untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan media sosial dalam pendidikan, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan program literasi digital, penggabungan media sosial ke dalam kurikulum, dan kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan siswa. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat dan pengelolaan yang bijak, media sosial dapat menjadi alat yang berguna untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk belajar, meningkatkan pengalaman belajar mereka, dan mempersiapkan mereka untuk tantangan di era ini. Diharapkan penelitian ini akan memberikan informasi kepada pendidik dan pemangku kepentingan tentang bagaimana memanfaatkan media sosial untuk mendukung pembelajaran. The goal of this research is to examine how social media usage impacts students' motivation to learn. In Indonesia, young people, especially students, account for 34.40% of total internet users. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature review and content analysis. Findings show that social media platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok play a significant role in boosting students' learning motivation. Social media helps students by fostering creativity, providing easier access to information, and encouraging collaboration. However, excessive use can lead to challenges such as difficulty focusing and potential addiction, which may disrupt learning. Factors such as academic needs, personal motivation, and peer influence play a key role in shaping social media usage habits. To maximize the benefits of social media in education, this research suggests implementing digital literacy programs, incorporating social media into school curricula, and promoting cooperation between schools, parents, and students. When used properly, social media can become a powerful tool for enhancing learning motivation, improving educational experiences, and preparing students for modern challenges. This study aims to offer valuable insights for educators and stakeholders on using social media to support education.

Abstract

Group Guidance Using Self-Control Techniques in Growing Shyness (Haya') of Adolescents in Pedamaran Village This research aims to find out the effectiveness of i-group guidance with self-control techniques in growing a sense of shyness (haya') towards adolescents. This research uses a quantitative approach to the ion-group experiment. The sample technique used in this research used the random sampling technique in Iran, the data collection technique used the questionnaire (questionnaire), observation and documentation. iData analysis technique iusing iMicrosoft iExcel i2007, iSPSS iVersion i25 and iWilcoxon test. i. Data iteration test ivalidity i0.632 i and i stage test irreliability i0.932. The results of this study show that the level of shyness (feeling) has increased after being guided by the group with the self-control technique. If seen from i, the mean value of ipretest is i99 and it increases iafter ipostest is given, i get an average value i106 i, by using ione-group experiment approach. The results of this study show that i-group guidance with self-control techniques is effective in growing a sense of embarrassment (haya') i-teenagers in iPedamaran's ideas.
