Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of leadership in implementing the three main aspects of 1-minute management, namely praise, reprimand and apology at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darussalam. In educational leadership, madrasa heads play a strategic role in motivating and developing teaching and educational staff performance. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach and data collection through an online questionnaire distributed to 15 respondents consisting of teachers and madrasa staff. Data analysis was carried out using theme analysis techniques to identify patterns of behavior and responses to the three aspects of leadership. The results showed that the praise by madrasah heads significantly increased teacher motivation and self-confidence, while reprimands given constructively helped improve performance. In addition, a leader's attitude of apologizing when they make a mistake creates a more inclusive work environment and increases subordinates' trust in leadership. These findings indicate that leadership that integrates praise, reprimand, and apology can build positive relationships and improve performance in the educational environment.

Abstract

The evaluation and quality audit of education are essential components of the Total Quality Management (TQM) system in educational institutions. In the context of Islamic education, the implementation of evaluation and quality audits not only targets administrative and academic aspects but also encompasses spiritual and moral values. This article aims to analyze the process of educational evaluation and quality audits, as well as their implementation in supporting the quality improvement of Islamic educational institutions. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature review method. The findings indicate that systematic evaluations and periodic internal and external audits can foster the development of a sustainable quality culture. These findings contribute to the overall improvement of the quality management system in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam dunia pendidikan menuntut lembaga pendidikan, termasuk madrasah, untuk mengadopsi Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) sebagai bagian dari upaya meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan mutu layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis proses implementasi SIM di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darussalam Samarinda, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilannya dalam mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala madrasah, guru, operator EMIS, serta orang tua siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SIM berbasis EMIS 4.0 telah membantu madrasah dalam mempercepat pelaporan dan pengelolaan data, namun pemanfaatannya masih terbatas pada aspek administratif. Hambatan utama yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan perangkat dan koneksi internet, rendahnya kompetensi digital pengguna, serta kurangnya pelatihan teknis. Meskipun demikian, terdapat upaya adaptasi dari pihak madrasah untuk menyesuaikan sistem dengan kondisi yang ada. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi SIM sangat dipengaruhi oleh dukungan teknis, kesiapan sumber daya manusia, dan budaya organisasi yang mendukung transformasi digital.
