Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menganalisa penggunaan bahasa mahasiswa Tionghoa di Indonesia, khususnya di Jakarta dan Medan. Penelitian dilakukan melalui survei kuesioner. Analisis meliputi bahasa ibu mereka, tingkat penguasaan bahasa, bahasa yang mereka pilih untuk digunakan dalam berbagai konteks seperti keluarga, masyarakat, dan sekolah. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pilihan penggunaan bahasa mahasiswa, termasuk faktor politik, ekonomi, keluarga, dan individual.  ABSTRACT:This research analyzes the language use of Indonesian Chinese students in Jakarta and Medan. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey. The analysis includes their native language, language proficiency level, and the language they choose to use in various contexts such as family, society, and school. This research also analyzes the factors that influence students' language choices, including political, economic, family, and individual factors.

Abstract

This research aims to use contrastive analysis on the contradictory conjunctions found in Indonesian and Mandarin languages, by comparing the word “namun” with “ ?? bùguò” and the word “tetapi” with “ ? què”. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze and observe the similarities and differences of contradictory conjunctions in Indonesian and Mandarin languages based on the contrastive theory in the field of linguistics. The data collection technique used is documentation, both digital and non-digital, which includes three Indonesian books and three Mandarin books. The results of this research show that in the contradictory conjunctions “tetapi” and “què”, there are 11 similarities and 4 differences, while in the conjunctions “namun” and “bùguò”, there are 12 similarities and 8 differences.
