Abstract

Health Information Systems (HIS) are a crucial element in improving the efficiency and accuracy of medical services in community health centers. This study aims to analyze the impact of HIS implementation on the quality of healthcare services, using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The analysis process involved identifying 300 relevant articles through academic databases, such as Taylor and Francis and Scopus, which were then selected into 10 primary articles based on inclusion criteria. This study explored the impact of HIS on service efficiency, data accuracy, and evidence-based decision-making. The analysis results indicate that the implementation of HIS, such as the Community Health Center Management Information System (SIMPUS) and web-based applications, significantly contributes to accelerating services, reducing patient waiting times, and increasing user satisfaction. However, challenges such as limited human resources, inadequate technological infrastructure, and the complexity of data management remain major obstacles. System integration, such as bridging systems, and the development of web-based applications have proven effective in addressing some of these obstacles. This study concludes that HIS has a positive impact on improving the quality of healthcare services in community health centers, although its implementation requires better infrastructure support and human resource training. Technological integration and innovation efforts are key to optimizing the benefits of HIS in supporting efficient, patient-centered healthcare services.

Abstract

Sanitasi yang buruk di pusat perbelanjaan dan pasar dapat menjadi sumber penularan penyakit dan menurunkan kenyamanan pengunjung. Medan Mall dan Pusat Pasar Medan sebagai dua lokasi pusat aktivitas masyarakat di Kota Medan masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam pengelolaan sanitasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas sanitasi di kedua lokasi dengan fokus pada kondisi toilet, ketersediaan air bersih, fasilitas cuci tangan, pengelolaan sampah, dan penataan ruang ibadah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas dasar telah tersedia namun belum memenuhi standar sanitasi yang ideal. Toilet belum ramah akses, fasilitas cuci tangan minim, sistem pemilahan sampah tidak diterapkan, dan penataan musholla tidak sesuai zona bersih. Kurangnya edukasi dan pengawasan juga memperburuk kondisi tersebut. Diperlukan perbaikan menyeluruh agar sanitasi di lokasi penelitian dapat mendukung kesehatan dan kenyamanan masyarakat.

Abstract

Fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan tingkat pertama seperti puskesmas menghasilkan berbagai jenis limbah yang dapat mencemari lingkungan dan membahayakan kesehatan masyarakat jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan AMDAL di UPT Puskesmas wilayah Deli Serdang, dengan fokus pada pengelolaan limbah cair, limbah padat, dan limbah B3. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain studi evaluatif. melalui observasi, wawancara, dan checklist berdasarkan Permen LH No. 16 Tahun 2012. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa puskesmas belum memiliki IPAL dan masih membakar limbah padat secara terbuka. Limbah B3 dikelola oleh pihak ketiga, namun belum dilengkapi prosedur internal yang memadai. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan lingkungan di puskesmas belum optimal dan perlu ditingkatkan melalui pembangunan IPAL, pelatihan petugas, dan penyusunan SOP.
