Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between leadership styles employed by educators and the formation of character and personality among students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. Utilizing qualitative methods, including direct observation and in-depth interviews, the research emphasizes how different leadership approaches can be adapted to align with local cultural contexts, facilitating better interaction between educators and students. It highlights that a strong personality is essential for future leaders, and thus, educators must employ effective leadership styles to positively influence their students. The findings indicate that the character and personality development of students is significantly shaped by the leadership styles of their educators. Furthermore, diverse leadership approaches can complement one another, contributing to a holistic development of students' character and personality in preparation for their future roles as leaders.

Abstract

Background: Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dalam mendukung legalitas dan pengembangan usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) di Indonesia. Namun, banyak pelaku usaha rakyat yang belum memahami prosedur dan pentingnya memiliki NIB sebagai syarat untuk memperoleh akses Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR). Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada pelaku UKM dalam proses pembuatan NIB, guna meningkatkan aksesibilitas mereka terhadap kredit usaha yang disediakan oleh pemerintah. Metode: Metode kegiatan ini melibatkan mitra yaitu kader karang taruna sejumlah 6 orang dan peserta sosialisasi sejumlah 15 orang. Pendampingan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, serta pendampingan langsung kepada pelaku UMKM dalam setiap tahapan pendaftaran NIB melalui sistem Online Single Submission (OSS). Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan pelaku usaha di Desa Brumbungan Lor, Kecamatan Gending, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Hasil: Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan UMKM dalam mengurus legalitas usahanya serta kemudahan mereka dalam mengakses fasilitas KUR. Kesimpulan: Dengan adanya pendampingan ini, diharapkan pelaku usaha rakyat dapat lebih mudah mendapatkan pembiayaan usaha dan mampu meningkatkan skala bisnis mereka secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of e-services in public service delivery at the Public Service Mall (MPP) of Probolinggo City, in order to enhance transparency and accountability. The background of this research is based on the demands of bureaucratic reform, which encourage digital transformation in public services to create an open and accountable system of governance. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using the e-service implementation theory based on the Information System Success Model by DeLone and McLean (2003), which includes dimensions of system quality, information quality, service quality, system use, user satisfaction, and net benefits. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of e-services at MPP Probolinggo has made a positive contribution to improving information access and service efficiency, thereby fostering transparency and accountability in public service delivery. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified, such as limited digital literacy among the public and the need to improve the stability of the electronic service system. This study recommends strengthening human resource capacity, continuous public outreach, and regular evaluations of the e-service system to optimally achieve transparent and accountable public services.
