Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of tourist attractions in Nglanggeran, Patuk, Gunung Kidul, with a cross-faceted approach to law, economics, and philosophy. Although Nglanggeran has become a popular tourist destination, challenges in effective management of tourist attractions still need to be addressed. In reviewing legal aspects, this study will explore regulations and policies governing tourism management in Nglanggeran, including environmental protection, local community rights, and related permits and regulations. In the economic aspect of tourism, this study will analyze the economic contribution of tourism to local communities, the potential for sustainable economic development, and the economic benefits of the tourism sector. From a philosophical perspective, this study will review the values and principles underlying the management of tourist attractions in Nglanggeran, including ethical and sustainability concepts for the development and maintenance of sustainable tourist destinations. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through field observation, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and document analysis related to tourism law, philosophy, and economics. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the governance of tourist attractions in Nglanggeran and recommendations for improvements in sustainable tourism management. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Law Number 10 of 2009 on Tourism with the increasing tourist interest in Studio Alam Gamplong, Yogyakarta. The research employs a normative juridical method supported by empirical data collected through document analysis, field observation, and interviews with 20 informants from government officials, tourism managers, business actors, and tourists. The findings show a 23% increase in tourist visits in 2023 and 68% community involvement in tourism management. However, regulatory gaps remain, particularly in technical provisions for visitor capacity and infrastructure support. A teleological interpretation of the law indicates that its objectives—improving community welfare and enhancing destination competitiveness—have not been fully realized. The study recommends the formulation of technical regulations at the regional level, the establishment of legally recognized tourism management institutions, and the optimization of local government roles in facilitation and promotion. These findings aim to strengthen legally grounded, sustainable, and participatory tourism policy governance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk menganalisis dampak sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat lokal di Bali akibat pembangunan pariwisata; (2) untuk mengetahui pengalaman masyarakat lokal di Bali dalam menghadapi dampak pariwisata dan perlindungan hukum yang ada; (3) untuk mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat lokal di Bali dalam mengakses hak terkait dengan pembangunan pariwisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah masyarakat lokal di Bali, sedangkan objek penelitian adalah kendala yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat lokal di Bali dalam mengakses hak terkait dengan pembangunan pariwisata. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Sementara itu, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat lokal di Bali masih menghadapi beberapa kendala dalam mengakses hak terkait dengan pembangunan pariwisata, termasuk kurangnya pengetahuan tentang hak-hak masyarakat, akses ke informasi tentang pembangunan pariwisata, dan partisipasi dalam proses perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa masyarakat lokal di Bali masih kurang memiliki sumber daya untuk mengakses hak-haknya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa perlu dilakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang hak-hak masyarakat lokal, meningkatkan akses ke informasi tentang pembangunan pariwisata, meningkatkan partisipasi dalam proses perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan, dan meningkatkan sumber daya untuk mengakses hak-hak masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

This research describes and analyzes the influence of service quality and motivation on tourists' interest in visiting the Merapi Jeep Lava Tour, using a quantitative method. This study collected data through the distribution of questionnaires to visitors who visited the Merapi Lava Tour. The results of this research explain that service quality and motivation have a significant influence on tourists' interest in visiting. The conclusion of this research confirms that service quality and motivation have a positive influence on tourists' interest in visiting. Suggestions given involve maintaining service quality, innovating attractions to attract more tourists who want to visit.

Abstract

Students can take part in community service activities (PkM) and assist village communities in developing villages, especially tourist villages, to become a developing tourist attraction and have an impact on the community's economy. On the other hand, tourist villages need to have an academic role involving students in an effort to maximize their tourism potential. Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta College of Tourism annually organizes community service activities coordinated by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). The purpose of writing this article is to describe the results obtained from carrying out a real work program in Dayakan Hamlet. The activity method used is direct observation in the field and discussion to the target of the individual work program, namely children. And using the mentoring method for the process of implementing the sculpture painting competition at the August 17 competition event. The results obtained are that the community and village managers appreciate and find that the results of student activities are very instrumental in helping the development of Watu Ledhek Tourism Village. The resulting conclusion is that students can play a role in helping the community and village managers develop tourism potential so that it can answer the needs of a tourist village.

Abstract

The Real Work Lecture (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) conducted by students of STIPRAM Yogyakarta took place in Patihan, Bantul. The individual project I undertook was creating a promotional video for camping at Goa Cemara Beach. The driving factors included raising awareness, building trust, and attracting tourist interest. The inhibiting factors encompassed limited facilities, unpredictable weather, and technical knowledge gaps. The outcome was a 3-minute promotional video shared on social media platforms, yielding positive responses and boosting visits and revenue at Goa Cemara Beach. In conclusion, social media proves effective in promoting tourism, yielding favorable impacts for the local community.
