<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to find out whether the application of the Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model can increase the mathematics learning activity of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Sepatan, Tangerang Regency on the subject of Statistics and Opportunity. This type of research is a classroom action research with the subject of the research being grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Sepatan for the 2019/2020 school year consisting of 40 students. The research was carried out in two cycles of action. The first cycle discusses the subject of Opportunity and the second cycle deals with Statistics. The data of the research results were obtained from the results of observations during mathematics learning activities using student activity observation sheets, student response questionnaires, field notes, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained from the activity observation sheet and student response questionnaire were analyzed by calculating the percentage of all aspects observed. The results of the study showed that the students' mathematics learning activity after the implementation of the Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model showed that on average, all aspects of mathematics learning activity of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Sepatan, Tangerang Regency on the subject of Opportunity and Statistics increased. This is shown by an increase in the average result of the percentage of student learning activity observation sheets for each cycle, namely in the first cycle student activity was 61.17% for the second cycle of 71.11%. In addition, the results of the student response questionnaire to learning also increased, namely by 63% in the first cycle and by 70.11% in the second cycle. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sepatan, Kabupaten Tangerang pada pokok bahasan Statistika dan Peluang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sepatan tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari 40 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus tindakan. Siklus pertama membahas pokok bahasan Peluang dan siklus kedua tentang Statistika. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari hasil observasi selama kegiatan pembelajaran matematika berlangsung dengan menggunakan lembar observasi keaktifan siswa, angket respon siswa, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun data yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi keaktifan dan angket respon siswa dianalisis dengan menghitung persentase dari keseluruhan aspek yang diamati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan belajar matematika siswa setelah dilakukan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT) menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata seluruh aspek keaktifan belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sepatan, Kabupaten Tangerang pada pokok bahasan Peluang dan Statistika mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil rata-rata persentase lembar observasi keaktifan belajar siswa untuk tiap siklus, yaitu pada siklus I keaktifan siswa sebesar 61,17% untuk siklus II sebesar 71,11%. Selain itu hasil dari angket respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran juga meningkat yaitu sebesar 63% pada siklus I dan sebesar 70,11% pada siklus II.]]>
