Abstract

This study aims to describe and compare the effectiveness of the IBL and PBL models in terms of students' self-confidence and metacognitive abilities. The research is carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Sewon class XI with the application material of algebraic function derivatives. The type of research used is an experiment with a quantitative approach, and the design used is quasi-experimental. The results showed that both IBL and PBL were effective the terms of self-confidence and metacognitive ability. Based on the comparison of learning models on self-confidence, there is no difference between the two models of the metacognitive ability of the PBL model is better than the IBL

Abstract

Higher education has a strategic role in educating the nation's life and increasing global competitiveness. As a system, higher education consists of collaborating components such as inputs, processes, outputs, and outcomes that must be managed in an integrated and sustainable manner. This study aims to describe the basic concept of higher education as a system and analyze its implications for institutional governance. The method used is systematic literature review (SRL) with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by searching various literatures in various databases such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and ScienceDirect and analyzed using thematic techniques. The results of the study show that the higher education system encourages the transformation of institutional governance from traditional administrative models to data-based and quality-oriented adaptive governance. The implementation of the system allows institutions to improve the quality of governance through the integration of management information systems, strengthening the culture of quality, and collaboration between stakeholders. This system provides benefits in the form of improving the quality of public services, innovation, and productivity, but there are challenges in this system such as low graduate absorption, limited scientific development and regulatory dynamics. It is concluded that higher education as a system is not only a conceptual framework, but also a practical basis for developing adaptive and quality-oriented institutional governance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of students' concept understanding of data concentration and distribution measures in the Basic Statistics course. The main focus of the research covers students' understanding of the concepts of mean, median, mode, range, variance, and standard deviation. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach involving nine students in the fourth semester mathematics education study program at STKIP Modern Ngawi who had taken the material. Data collection was carried out through open description dianostic tests and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing based on the Miles and Huberman model, as well as data triangulation to increase validity. The results showed that students in the high category were able to solve problems correctly and provide good conceptual explanations. Medium category students can solve problems procedurally but do not understand the meaning of the concept thoroughly, while low category students show misconceptions and conceptual errors that are quite dominant. These findings indicate the importance of a learning approach that emphasizes not only procedures, but also conceptual understanding and contextual linkages.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematical values contained in the traditional house of the Samin community and determine the application to use the concepts in mathematics learning. Ethnographic approach and triangulasi method are used in qualitative research analysis. Data collection techniques were carried out by literature study, participatory observation, documentation and interviews. Triangulasi is used for data variation and validation while ethnografi is used to study and develop cultural understanding. The results showed that there are ednomathematics concepts that are relevant to be applied to mathematics learning such as the shape of the roof, poles, doors, windows and the middle room. The discovery of the concept of flat shapes (square, rectangle, triangle, trapezoid), spatial shapes (block, prism), geometrict transformations (translation, rotation, reflection), and similarity. The mathematical concept in this research can be applied to the school curriculum from elementary to high school. Practical value, this research help students understand mathematics through their own enviroment and cultural. Cultural value, ednomathematics based learning strengthens local identity and cultural presenvation. Use value, the math learning approach is more contextual, fun and relevant ro real life.

Abstract

Kata kunci: Kalkulator, Deep learning, Literatur Review Abstract: Calculators are the most widely used learning media in classrooms. Since their emergence, calculators have undergone significant developments and provided many positive impacts on students. Furthermore, there are four models of calculator integration activities: representation, computation, exploration, and affirmation. Deep learning is an instructional approach that can be integrated with calculators. Its inherent nature, which requires students to construct their own knowledge through exploratory activities, makes it highly suitable for such integration. Deep learning integrated with calculators helps teachers create a learning environment that allows students to study mathematical concepts in depth. However, few studies have examined how to implement calculators within deep learning. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the relevance of calculators in mathematics learning and to provide alternative learning settings that integrate calculators based on a selected literature review. The method used is a systematic literature review, in which the researcher collects articles from various databases and selects them according to the PRISMA Statement procedures until eligible articles are obtained. Based on the analysis, it was found that calculators can be integrated into exploration- and inquiry-based learning settings, one of which is deep learning. Keywords: Calculator, Deep learning, Literature Review
