<![CDATA[This article aims to discuss the role of Islamic education in the formation of Muslim identity in the digital era through a library research approach with qualitative methods. Islamic education aims to develop human potential holistically, with principles that emphasize the balance between worldly and ukhrawi knowledge and ethics. In the digital era, Muslim identity formation faces challenges such as the influence of foreign cultures, uncontrolled information, and lack of understanding of valid Islamic teachings, which can obscure identity. Therefore, Islamic education is key in strengthening this identity, by instilling religious values that are appropriate to the context of the times. This article also reviews the application of Islamic education methods in the digital era through the utilization of technology, such as online learning platforms, tafsir applications, and da'wah videos. Technology can be an effective tool to deepen Islamic teachings while maintaining religious values, so that Islamic education remains relevant in facing the challenges of the times and maintaining Muslim identity, as well as encouraging a deeper and more comprehensive understanding. Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas peran pendidikan Islam dalam pembentukan identitas Muslim di era digital melalui pendekatan library research dengan metode kualitatif. Pendidikan Islam bertujuan mengembangkan potensi manusia secara holistik, dengan prinsip-prinsip yang menekankan keseimbangan antara ilmu duniawi dan ukhrawi serta etika. Di era digital, pembentukan identitas Muslim menghadapi tantangan seperti pengaruh budaya asing, informasi yang tidak terkendali, dan kurangnya pemahaman terhadap ajaran Islam yang sahih, yang dapat mengaburkan jati diri. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan Islam menjadi kunci dalam memperkuat identitas tersebut, dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai agama yang sesuai dengan konteks zaman. Artikel ini juga mengulas penerapan metode pendidikan Islam di era digital melalui pemanfaatan teknologi, seperti platform pembelajaran online, aplikasi tafsir, dan video dakwah. Teknologi dapat menjadi alat efektif untuk mendalami ajaran Islam sambil tetap mempertahankan nilai-nilai agama, sehingga pendidikan Islam tetap relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman dan menjaga identitas Muslim, serta mendorong pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan menyeluruh.]]>
