The Church realizes that human trafficking is a humanitarian issue that must be handled seriously. Humans, including children and women, are the image of God and have the same dignity as all people. This concern is a form of Church diakonia, namely serving and protecting the small and weak. One of the Church's efforts is realized through a child-friendly parish program. A child-friendly parish is a pastoral program that prioritizes children to grow integrally as members of the Church. The approach used to obtain information about child-friendly parish programs is qualitative, using interview and observation methods. From this research it is concluded that the child-friendly parish program as a form of Church diakonia has not been fully understood and realized in parish life. So at the end of this article the author states several responsibilities of the Church as a form of Church diakonia in relation to human trafficking cases and offers several practical efforts that can be made by the Church to improve the quality of Church services to children through child-friendly parish programs.

Abstract

Nowadays humans are increasingly worried about the increasingly serious condition of the earth due to pollution on land, sea and air as well as massive damage to forests, valleys, mountains, rice fields and springs. It is sure that natural conditions have a very dangerous impact on human lives. That is why the ecological crisis and the social crisis are two things that cannot be separated. In the face of the ecological crisis, the Church must provide a prophetic response. Ecopastoralism is one of the Church's responses to ecological problems. This research aims to explain ecopastoralism as a response to environmental problems in the Parish of St. Maximilianus Kolbe, Wukir. The method used in this research is a qualitative method and a case study approach to pastoral programs in the environmental sector and the concrete work of Wukir Parish people in the environmental sector. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis of various reports. The results of this research show that ecopastoralism in Wukir Parish is carried out with a basic pattern that refers to the duties of the Church, namely liturgy, kerygma, koinonia, and diakonia. The tasks of the Church are always connected with ecology in order to raise awareness among the people about the important role of the natural environment and other creations for human life in the world. Ecopastoralism in the Wukir parish contributes to strengthening the environmental Christian community. This community strives to live out an ecological perspective, develop ecological spirituality as an inner spirit to care for and preserve other creations, and culminates in ecopraxis, namely concrete actions in the environmental sector.

Abstract

This article aims to introduce a paradigm of life which is a guide and guide for the lives of the Manggarai-NTT people. For them, building relationships with others, the natural environment, and the Creator is one of the requirements for their existence as human beings. This is clearly seen in the ancient philosophy of kuni agu kalo. However, amid the pressure of progress and modernization, the implementation of the ancient philosophy of kuni agu kalo in the conduct of daily life is increasingly eroded. This is reflected in the fact that the culture of hatred and violence is getting stronger due to economic motives, social jealousy, and politics. In addition, the destruction of the environment is becoming increasingly massive. This research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. The results of this research show that the kuni agu kalo philosophy can be a philosophical basis for the Manggarai people to build relationality towards each other, the environment, and towards the highest being. For this reason, this philosophy needs to be maintained but also needs to be implemented in daily life practices to create better public civility.TRANSLATE with x EnglishArabicHebrewPolishBulgarianHindiPortugueseCatalanHmong DawRomanianChinese SimplifiedHungarianRussianChinese TraditionalIndonesianSlovakCzechItalianSlovenianDanishJapaneseSpanishDutchKlingonSwedishEnglishKoreanThaiEstonianLatvianTurkishFinnishLithuanianUkrainianFrenchMalayUrduGermanMalteseVietnameseGreekNorwegianWelshHaitian CreolePersian //  TRANSLATE with COPY THE URL BELOW Back EMBED THE SNIPPET BELOW IN YOUR SITE Enable collaborative features and customize widget: Bing Webmaster PortalBack//
