Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to describe the development of the character of love for the country and to find out how teachers at RA UNGGULAN ASSA'ADAH Surabaya encourage young children to introduce and instill a sense of love for the country which must be done. From the research results, it was found that a sense of love for the country was awakened in RA UNGGULAN ASSA'ADAH Surabaya. The cultivation of the character of love for the country carried out by educators plays a major role in instilling love for the country in young children. Love for the homeland in the school environment is often raised through activities in the school environment such as: commemorating national holidays, flag ceremonies, singing the national anthem, introducing heroes, and introducing Indonesia to its diversity and culture. All children must be given support as early as possible and at every opportunity continuously so that a sense of love for the country is instilled in them from an early age. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan karakter cinta tanah air dan mengetahui cara guru RA UNGGULAN ASSA'ADAH Surabaya dalam mendorong anak usia dini untuk mengenalkan dan menanamkan rasa cinta tanah air yang harus dilakukan. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan rasa cinta tanah air yang terbangun dalam diri RA UNGGULAN ASSA'ADAH Surabaya. Penanaman karakter cinta tanah air yang dilakukan oleh para pendidik sangat berperan besar dalam menanamkan rasa cinta tanah air pada anak usia dini. Rasa cinta tanah air di lingkungan sekolah sering dimunculkan melalui kegiatan-kegiatan di lingkungan sekolah seperti: memperingati hari besar nasional, upacara bendera, menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan, mengenalkan pahlawan, dan mengenalkan Indonesia pada keberagaman dan budayanya. Semua anak harus diberikan dukungan sedini mungkin dan di setiap kesempatan secara terus menerus agar rasa cinta tanah air dapat ditanamkan dalam diri mereka sejak dini
