Abstract

This research is an experimental research that aims to determine the effectiveness of the model (Frayer) to improve Arabic language learning outcomes in class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this study is: Is the Model (Frayer) effective in improving Arabic Vocabulary Mastery of Class VIII Students of MTs in Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru? This research begins with designing learning steps, implementation, observation, then testing. The population of the study was class VIII students at MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru with samples of class VIII A and VIII B students. The subjects of the study were Arabic teachers and students of class VIII A and VIII B. The instruments used to collect data in this study consisted of observation and tests. From the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the Model (Frayer) can improve Arabic language learning outcomes in class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru very effectively. Based on the results of the student post-test, it shows that with a value of to = 6.779 which is greater than tt at a significance level of 1% = 2.001 and a significance level of 5% = 1.671, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The class that uses the Model (Frayer) with an average of 84.93% is very good (Jayyid Jiddan). There fore, implementing the Model (Frayer) has a strong effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

It was a quasi-experimental research aiming at finding out the effect of Video media with Sam’iyah Safawiyah method toward student Arabic learning motivation at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar.  The formulation of the problem in this research was “what was the effect of Video media with Sam’iyah Safawiyah method toward student Arabic learning motivation at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar?”.  This research was started with planning the lesson plan, implementing, observing, and distributing questionnaire.  The eighth-grade students at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar in the Academic Year of 2021/2022 were the population of this research, and the samples were the eighth-grade students of classes A and B.  The subjects of this research were the eighth-grade students at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar, and the object was the effect of Video media with Sam’iyah Safawiyah method toward student Arabic learning motivation at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar.  Observation and questionnaire were the instruments of collecting data.  Based on data analysis, it could be concluded that there was an effect of Video media with Sam’iyah Safawiyah method toward student Arabic learning motivation at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar because the score of to 11.690 was higher than tt 2.492 at 1% significant level and 2.064 at 5% significant level.  It meant that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected.  In other words, Video media with Sam’iyah Safawiyah method affected student Arabic learning motivation at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to determine the development of an instrument for evaluating the reading skills  of class VIII MTs PP students.  Darul Fatah.  This research method is descriptive qualitative.  This research describes the development of a listening skills evaluation instrument.  The research results show that to measure reading skills apart from looking at it from the communication side, reading skills can also be measured through learning evaluations with instruments or various tests.  Reading is not just looking at a collection of letters that have formed words, groups of words, sentences, paragraphs and discourse, but more than that, reading is an activity of understanding and interpreting meaningful symbols/signs/writing so that the message conveyed by the author can be received by the reade. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan instrumen evaluasi keterampilan membaca siswa kelas VIII MTs PP. Darul Fatah. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggambarkan pengembangan instrumen evaluasi keterampilan menyimak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk mengukur keterampilan menmbaca selain dilihat dari sisi komunikasinya, keterampilan membaca juga dapat diukur melalui evaluasi pembelajaran dengan instrumen  atau macam-macam tes. membaca bukan hanya sekedar melihat kumpulan huruf yang telah membentuk kata, kelompok kata, kalimat, paragraf, dan wacana saja, tetapi lebih dari itu bahwa membaca merupakan kegiatan memahami dan menginterpretasikan lambang/tanda/tulisan yang bermakna sehingga pesan yang disampaikan penulis dapat diterima oleh pembaca.
