Abstract

Decision Support System (DSS) is a system used to assist decision makers in determining the best alternative based on certain criteria. Determining retirement eligibility for ASN (State Civil Apparatus) employees is one of the important aspects in human resource management, where this decision affects the future of employee careers, their welfare, and state budget management. This study proposes the development of a decision support system for determining retirement eligibility for ASN employees using the Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) method. The MADM method is a decision-making technique that considers several criteria and alternatives to produce optimal decisions. In this study, the criteria used to determine retirement eligibility include retirement age, length of service, work performance, health, and other factors relevant to the applicable pension policy. The method used in this system includes several steps, namely identifying criteria, assigning weights to each criterion, and evaluating alternatives based on these criteria using calculation techniques such as AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) or TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). The results of this evaluation will provide recommendations on whether an employee is eligible for retirement or can still continue his career. The developed system is expected to facilitate the decision-making process regarding ASN employee retirement by providing objective and transparent analysis, so that the decisions taken are more appropriate and in accordance with applicable policies. Thus, this system can improve efficiency and effectiveness in human resource management in government agencies.

Abstract

The workshop “Digital Articles for Sustainable Tourism: Integrating Literacy Culture, Green School, and Technology” at SMKS Bakti Luhur Tambolaka aims to enhance teachers' digital literacy and article writing skills, with a focus on sustainable tourism. This activity is designed to equip teachers with an understanding of the essential role of digital literacy in disseminating information on sustainability issues, particularly in the tourism sector. In the digital era, this literacy is increasingly relevant in helping teachers convey messages about the importance of environmental preservation through responsible tourism practices. In addition to digital literacy, the workshop introduces the Green School concept, an educational approach focused on environmental sustainability. This concept emphasizes reducing paper usage and promotes technology-based learning to support eco-friendly educational processes. Through the Green School concept, teachers are encouraged to integrate digital technology into their daily teaching, including publishing educational articles on sustainability on school blogs or social media. Thus, teachers are not only trained in writing but are also taught how to leverage digital platforms as interactive learning media. The workshop consists of material sessions, writing practice, and group discussions. Teachers are divided into groups to write articles related to sustainable tourism. They practice crafting messages about eco-friendly tourism into informative and engaging digital articles. The results of this activity show that the teachers not only gained technical skills in digital writing but were also able to create content that promotes environmental awareness among students. With these skills, the teachers are expected to become agents of change, spreading the values of sustainable tourism and environmentally friendly education to students and the wider community, aligning with the needs of education in the digital era.

Abstract

This workshop aims to enhance the critical thinking skills of teachers at SMKS Efata Omba Rade to effectively support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The main focus of this activity is to develop the teachers' non-technical or soft skills, particularly in critical thinking and contextual pedagogy. The three primary objectives of this workshop include: (1) increasing teachers' understanding of critical thinking skills in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, (2) strengthening pedagogical skills to support more contextual and meaningful teaching methods, and (3) guiding teachers in training students to think critically within the context of the tourism industry. This workshop is expected to enrich teachers' ability to apply innovative and effective teaching methods. The anticipated outcomes include enhanced critical thinking skills for teachers, a deep understanding of pedagogy relevant to industry demands, and teacher readiness to guide students toward becoming a creative and analytical generation. Thus, this activity contributes to preparing SMKS Efata graduates to face challenges and opportunities in the workforce, particularly in the tourism sector

Abstract

Collaboration of computer science disciplines with other disciplines has been widely carried out, for example, medical science. Expert systems for disease diagnosis are one of the many computer programs used by doctors to assist them in their work and provide good results. Researchers in the field of artificial intelligence are working to improve existing systems to cover their shortcomings. Expert systems are used in many applications for disease diagnosis. Expert systems have been used in various industries and have had a significant impact. An innovative method for diagnosing diseases is the application of case-based reasoning systems, compared to expert systems. The solution to diagnosing and treating diseases can be found in the expert system for diagnosing pulmonary tuberculosis. Because this web-based system is based on a web application, all pulmonary tuberculosis patients can access it. A rule-based system that applies the CBR method can identify various types of diseases through the use of weighting techniques and offer treatment recommendations.

Abstract

Technological developments are increasingly rapid, as evidenced by the large number of individuals and businesses from various industries who depend on computers to support their daily operations, as well as the small, medium and medium sectors. Large companies that already manage payroll processing tasks every month certainly require the use of computers so that the process can function properly. It is hoped that the web-based stationery sales information system at Istana Anugerah can stimulate public interest in purchasing the shop's merchandise. This information system is expected to facilitate consumers' ability to place orders from any location without having to physically visit the store, as well as facilitating the sales department's ability to produce sales reports more quickly and without errors.

Abstract

Workshop Sumba Ecobiz Challenge 2025 merupakan inisiatif pelatihan kewirausahaan pariwisata yang diselenggarakan pada 22 Mei 2025 di Laboratorium Komputer Jurusan DKV SMK Pancasila Tambolaka. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali generasi muda Sumba dengan keterampilan teknis dalam menyusun proposal bisnis, executive summary, dan pitch deck secara profesional. Workshop ini diikuti oleh 30 siswa yang terbagi dalam 10 kelompok, masing-masing berasal dari Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya dan Sumba Barat, serta didampingi oleh 10 guru pendamping. Peserta merupakan hasil seleksi dari 45 concept note yang dikirimkan oleh 25 sekolah. Metode pelatihan mengedepankan experiential learning dengan pendekatan praktik langsung, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, dan simulasi pitching. Para peserta menghasilkan ide-ide bisnis yang inovatif dan berbasis potensi lokal, seperti produk kuliner khas, kerajinan lokal, serta layanan wisata edukatif dan berbasis komunitas. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap struktur dokumen bisnis dan kemampuan komunikasi ide secara efektif. Workshop ini juga memperkuat jejaring kolaborasi antar sekolah dan mendorong tumbuhnya ekosistem wirausaha muda yang kontekstual dan berdaya saing. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini menjadi pijakan awal yang strategis dalam mengembangkan kewirausahaan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Pulau Sumba sebagai upaya nyata pemberdayaan ekonomi daerah.

Abstract

Elementary education is the fundamental stage in shaping students’ character, attitudes, and learning motivation. Learning interest plays a vital role in determining students’ success in understanding and mastering the lessons. However, differences in background, abilities, and learning styles often cause significant variations in students’ interest. Therefore, it is necessary to apply an analytical method that can group students based on their level of learning interest so that teachers can provide appropriate learning strategies. This study aims to implement the K-Means Clustering algorithm to identify the learning interest of students at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Puu Naga. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires consisting of several indicators of learning interest, such as perseverance in completing assignments, enthusiasm during lessons, attention to teacher explanations, and participation in class activities. The collected data were then analyzed using the K-Means algorithm to form several clusters of learning interest. The data processing stages included determining the number of clusters, selecting the initial centroid, calculating the distance of data to the centroid, grouping data, and iterating until a stable clustering result was achieved. The results of the study show that the K-Means algorithm successfully grouped students into three main categories, namely high, medium, and low learning interest. Students in the high-interest group consistently demonstrated active learning behavior and strong intrinsic motivation, while those in the medium group showed fluctuating interest influenced by external factors such as the learning environment and teaching methods. Meanwhile, students in the low-interest group displayed a lack of attention and motivation, thus requiring special interventions. These findings provide valuable insights for the school, especially teachers, in designing adaptive and personalized teaching strategies. In conclusion, the application of the K-Means algorithm is proven effective as an analytical tool to identify students’ learning interest.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 2 Wanukaka is one of the educational institutions in West Sumba Regency. The purpose of designing and implementing this web-based new student registration information system is due to the lack of information to prospective new students regarding information on the new student registration process such as registration flow, information on registration fees and so on. So by designing this information system prospective new students can access new student registration information online so that prospective new students do not have to go to school to get registration information. In designing this web-based new student registration information system using the PHP and MySQL programming languages as database servers which have been summarized in one XAMMP application, the system design uses the waterfall method which consists of analysis, system design, coding and testing. The aim of creating this system is to support the service process so that it can improve the quality of service in conveying information to the public and assist the school in processing data on prospective new students well. After implementing the system and user testing which was carried out using the interview method at the school, the results were obtained that the existence of this web-based new student registration information system can help prospective new students to receive and access online registration information, including information on registration requirements. , test schedule, registration fees, graduation announcements, as well as a test card feature that can be printed directly by prospective new students which will later be used as a requirement for taking the selection exam. It can also help the school in preparing new student reports online, so that the information provided is distributed more effectively and efficiently, and the processing of new student admissions data can be done more effectively.
