Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has greatly influenced the world of education. One of the benefits of using ICT in education is that it makes it easier to find learning resources that it’s used in the learning process is the school library through digital libraries. The schools should develop digital libraries with facilities adequately. This study aimed to develop prototypes of web-based digital library products suitable as learning resources at public elementary school. The type of research used was research and development (R&D) using the PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation) model, carried out at SDN Sindang III, Majalengka Regency. The subjects in this study were the school principal, ten teachers, and 43 students. The research instrument used observation, interview, and product validation sheets. Research data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of this research and development are web-based digital library products containing various textbooks adapted to the school curriculum, consist of 2013 curriculum books, Kurikulum Merdeka’s, numeracy literacy modules, children's story books, learning videos, and teacher-supporting books. The product validation by three experts and two practitioners using the DigiQUAL instrument, which consists of seven aspects, an average score of 4.4 is obtained, which is in the excellent category. Conclusion this study is innovation web-based digital library product can be a learning resource at SDN Sindang III, Majalengka Regency.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru-guru MGMP Teknik Ketenagalistrikan Sumatera Barat dalam pengembangan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Sites. Kegiatan ini dirancang dalam bentuk workshop yang berlangsung selama tiga hari dan melibatkan 30 guru dari berbagai sekolah menengah kejuruan di Sumatera Barat. Materi pelatihan mencakup pengenalan dasar-dasar Google Sites, cara membuat dan mengelola konten pendidikan, integrasi dengan alat bantu pembelajaran lainnya, serta praktik terbaik dalam penggunaan LMS untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa para peserta mampu mengembangkan LMS yang interaktif dan mudah digunakan, serta meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam mengelola proses belajar mengajar secara digital. Melalui workshop ini, diharapkan para guru dapat mengimplementasikan LMS berbasis Google Sites di sekolah masing-masing, sehingga dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the motivation to learn Natural Science (IPA) in elementary school students through the Science, Environment, Technology, Society (SALINGTEMAS) learning model. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Sindang III, Majalengka, Indonesia, where the research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. In cycle I, meeting II, student learning motivation reached 71%, while in cycle II, meeting II, there was a significant increase to 84%. In addition, observation data of educators' learning actions showed that in cycle I, meeting II the percentage reached 44%, while in cycle II, meeting II, it increased to 78%, exceeding the desired target. Observations of student learning actions also showed an increase, from 66% in cycle I, meeting II, to 88% in cycle II, meeting II, exceeding the target set. Thus, the results of this study indicate that the application of the SALINGTEMAS learning model is effective in increasing the motivation of elementary school students to learn science.
