Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Sindang III Majalengka through the implementation of the Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) strategy. The study was motivated by the low level of students’ reading comprehension skills, as only a small number of students were able to fully understand the content of the reading materials. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 17 students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through teacher and student activity observations, as well as reading comprehension achievement tests. The data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the percentages of activity and learning mastery. The findings revealed a significant improvement. Teacher activity increased from 78.66% (good category) in the first cycle to 99.99% (very good category) in the second cycle. Student activity rose from 69.19% (fairly good) to 93.76% (very good). Similarly, students’ learning mastery improved from 47.05% in the first cycle to 70.58% in the second cycle. Therefore, the SQ4R strategy proved to be effective in enhancing both the learning process and outcomes of reading comprehension.

Abstract

Based on observations implementation of learning computer and basic network indicated only limited by using print module media, with lecture methods and guided practice and have not used learning media with android technology. This research purpose to obtain validity of learning media android-based on computer and basic network subjects. Interactive learning media based on android is designed to improve students' understanding so as to improve learning outcomes. This research is a Research and Development (R and D) with 4-D method development procedures (Define, Design, Develop, Desseminate). Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis techniques to describe the validity of interactive learning media android-based. The results obtained from this development research the validity of Android-based interactive learning media is declared valid on the media aspects and material aspects. Based on the result of this reserch concluded that the interactive learning media android- based was declared valid to be used as teaching materials in computer and basic network.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Multimedia Interaktif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dan populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Harapan Ananda yang berjumlah 87 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengukuran, dengan alat pengumpul data berupa tes. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest – posttest dua kelompok yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa yang memanfaatkan Multimedia dengan yang tidak memanfaatkan yakni hanya menggunakan buku teks. Data yang terkumpul, dianalisis dengan menguji perbedaan dua rata-rata (uji-t). Data hasil penelitian di SMP Harapan Ananda pada mata pelajaran IPS menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dari siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Multimedia Interaktif lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang tidak menggunakan, sehingga terdapat pengaruh pemanfaatan Multimedia Interaktif terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Harapan Ananda. Abstract This study aims to determine Interactive Multimedia on student learning outcomes in Social Sciences subjects. This type of research is experimental and the population of this research is all students of class VIII SMP Harapan Ananda, totaling 87 students. Data collection techniques use measurement techniques, with data collection tools in the form of tests. This study used a two-group pretest - posttest which aims to find out the comparison of student learning outcomes that use Multimedia with those that do not use only textbooks. The data collected was analyzed by testing the difference between the two means (t-test). Research data at Harapan Ananda Middle School on social studies subjects show that there are differences in learning outcomes from students who learn by using interactive multimedia-based learning media higher than the learning outcomes of students who do not use them, so there is an effect of using interactive multimedia on learning outcomes of social studies subjects students of class VIII SMP Harapan Ananda.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji peran organisasi Pemuda Pancasila dalam menumbuhkan identitas nasional dan keterampilan kewarganegaraan di kalangan mahasiswa. Masalah utama yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila di kalangan generasi muda, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami sejauh mana organisasi Pemuda Pancasila berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan rasa nasionalisme, keterampilan berpikir kritis, serta kolaborasi dan komunikasi di antara mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan tematik. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 60 mahasiswa UPGRI Pontianak yang merupakan anggota aktif Pemuda Pancasila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi dalam Pemuda Pancasila berdampak positif terhadap penguatan identitas nasional dan peningkatan keterampilan kewarganegaraan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kolaborasi antara organisasi kepemudaan dan institusi pendidikan dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam memperkuat karakter kebangsaan di kalangan mahasiswa. Dampak positif lainnya adalah terbentuknya mahasiswa yang lebih kritis, komunikatif, dan memiliki pemahaman mendalam terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran organisasi pemuda sangat penting dalam mendukung pendidikan kewarganegaraan di perguruan tinggi. ABSTRACT This study examines the role of the Pemuda Pancasila organization in fostering national identity and citizenship skills among students. The main issue faced is the lack of understanding and application of Pancasila values among the younger generation, particularly in the context of civic education. The purpose of this study is to understand the extent to which the Pemuda Pancasila organization contributes to developing a sense of nationalism, critical thinking skills, as well as collaboration and communication among students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a thematic approach. The sample consists of 60 students from UPGRI Pontianak who are active members of Pemuda Pancasila. The results of the study show that participation in Pemuda Pancasila has a positive impact on strengthening national identity and improving citizenship skills. The implications of this research suggest that collaboration between youth organizations and educational institutions can be an effective strategy in strengthening national character among students. Other positive impacts include the development of students who are more critical, communicative, and have a deeper understanding of Pancasila values. This study highlights the importance of youth organizations in supporting civic education in higher education.
