Abstract

The low level of student engagement in mathematics learning is attributed to the current generation of students being digital natives. While mathematics instruction still relies on 20th-century approaches or teacher-centered learning methods. This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet oriented toward a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model supported by Scratch for teaching the Pythagorean Theorem, designed to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities and mathematical dispositions. The research adopts a design-based research methodology following the Plomp model, which includes three main phases: preliminary research, prototyping, and assessment. The subjects of this study consisted of one lecturer, two teachers, and eighth-grade junior high school students. Research instruments included a validity sheet to assess the Student Worksheet’s validity, a practicality sheet to evaluate its practicality, essay tests, observation sheets, and a mathematical disposition questionnaire to measure the Student Worksheet’s effectiveness. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. The findings indicate that the developed Student Worksheet meets the criteria of being highly valid, as assessed by experts, highly practical based on classroom trials, and moderately effective in improving students’ problem-solving skills and mathematical dispositions. These results demonstrate that integrating the Project-Based Learning model supported by Scratch offers an innovative instructional approach aligned with the characteristics of digital native learners, while also contributing to the advancement of interactive and student-centered mathematics education.

Abstract

Ikan merupakan salah satu organisme yang hidup di perairan yang rentan terhadap perubahan lingkungan. Perubahan lingkungan baik faktor fisik maupun kimia yang terjadi dalam suatu perairan akan memberikan respon perubahan terhadap kelimpahan jenis ikan yang ada didalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh faktor fisik dan kimia terhadap kelimpahan ikan di sungai lambagu serta membuat media pembelajaran dalam bentuk poster. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan Purposive sampling. Perhitungan kelimpahan menggunakan rumus kelimpahan. Analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor fisik dan kimia lingkungan yaitu PCA (Principal Componen Analysis). Hasil Chi – square (Critical value) diperoleh nilai pengaruh kelimpahan senilai 18.307. Jenis ikan yang ditemukan sebanyak 6 jenis yang terdiri dari 4 Ordo, 6 Famili, dan 6 genus. Berdasarkan hasil analisis PCA (Principal Componen Analysis) diperoleh bahwa DO memiliki pengaruh positif dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0.910 sementara Suhu, pH dan Kecepatan arus berpengaruh negatih dengan nilai korelasi sebesar -0.564, -1.0 dan -0.877. Dimana angka signifikan yang digunakan ialah (0,05). Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi oleh tiga tim ahli diperoleh hasil validasi bahwa ahli isi sebesar 82,3% (Sangat Layak), ahli desain sebesar 76,3% (Layak) dan ahli media sebesar 84% (Sangat Layak) serta uji kelayakan dari 30 mahasiswa sebesar 79% (Layak) digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran poster.

Abstract

The rapid technological shift in the hospitality industry requires organizations to continuously adapt, particularly in integrating digital services and strengthening work culture. At Maya Sanur Resort & Spa, the diffusion of innovation has progressed unevenly, as a number of employees remain hesitant to adopt new digital systems and rely on manual work routines. This study aims to analyze how innovation is diffused within the organization and how work culture is developed to support these changes. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving managers and employees directly engaged in daily hotel operations. The data were analyzed through the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show four main points. First, innovation diffusion occurs through mass communication, interpersonal communication, and the organization’s social system. Second, the work culture emphasizes discipline, openness, cooperation, responsibility, and professionalism, which shape employees’ readiness to accept new practices. Third, the combination of innovation and cultural strengthening creates an adaptive and competitive work environment that enhances service quality and customer satisfaction. Fourth, management support through training, mentoring, and transparent communication plays a central role in accelerating innovation adoption. Overall, the study highlights that a strong work culture is essential to ensure the consistent and sustainable implementation of innovation in hospitality settings.
