Abstract

This study aims to determine the political communication and strategy carried out by Fauzan Khalid in the 2024 legislative general election. Another objective is to determine the implementation of political marketing until he becomes a member of the Indonesian parliament elected for 2024–2029.The study used a phenomenological study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects or informants were Fauzan Khalid's Parliament members, political communication observers in NTB, and several constituents selected based on purposive sampling techniques and collected data through observation (field observation), interviews, and document searches related to Fauzan Khalid's activities and political communication. Data analysis was done by processing, sorting, synthesizing, searching for, finding important data, and deciding what to convey in the research. The study results show that Fauzan Khalid used various effective political communication strategies and marketing methods until he was elected as a member of the Indonesian parliament for this first period. Fauzan also uses multiplatform media and social media as strategies to spread his political messages and ideas to voters.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the TikTok application by youth in shaping social behavior in Tanjung Tambak Baru Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were a group of youth aged 21-23 years who actively use social media, namely the TikTok application. The primary data in this study is a collection of information obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, while secondary data includes various literature that has relevance to the research object. Furthermore, the collected data was analyzed carefully and continuously using interactive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the TikTok application by youth in Karang Taruna in Tanjung Tambak Baru Village plays an important role in shaping their social behavior, especially in terms of communication style, level of creativity, and involvement in social activities. Social media, especially TikTok, has been shown to have a significant influence on these aspects

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy used by the “SUARA NTB” newspaper to capture the market, maintain the local print media business, and determine the implementation of convergence. The study used a qualitative research methodology. The subjects of the study or informants were employees of the editorial staff of the “SUARA NTB” newspaper, who were selected based on purposive sampling techniques—data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document searches. The results of this study indicate that the “SUARA NTB” newspaper has morphed from print media to online media, after previously producing content digitally. The “SUARA NTB” newspaper also applies media convergence or journalistic convergence to operate efficiently and maintain the increasingly competitive local media business in the digital era. The “SUARA NTB” newspaper expands its reader network by distributing content through digital or online media and social media by adopting the “The Long Tail” theory

Abstract

The emergence of complex, coordinated behavior from local interactions is a fundamental principle in biology, with pattern formation and synchronization being critical to processes like morphogenesis and intercellular signaling. Understanding the underlying nonlinear dynamics that govern this self-organization remains a central challenge in systems biology. This study aimed to develop a unified theoretical framework to investigate the conditions that drive pattern formation versus synchronization in generalized models of cellular communication. We employed a hybrid approach combining analytical methods with extensive numerical simulations of coupled reaction-diffusion and phase-oscillator models. The models incorporated key biological motifs such as activator-inhibitor signaling and time-delayed feedback loops. The results revealed that the interplay between the diffusion rate of signaling molecules and the time delay in the intracellular response is a critical bifurcation parameter. Slow diffusion and short delays favored robust Turing-like pattern formation, while rapid diffusion and longer delays promoted widespread phase synchronizationThis research concludes that cellular collectives can leverage fundamental principles of nonlinear dynamics, specifically the tuning of interaction range and response time, to select between distinct modes of self-organization.
