Abstract

This study aims to describe how the character development model for early childhood is based on local wisdom in the Sasak Tribe. This study was conducted with a focus on local Sasak wisdom that is relevant to the development of early childhood character and ethno parenting practices in the Sasak tribe community. The type of research used is qualitative research. The subjects of the study were the traditional chiefs of the Ende Sasak tribe, the Bayan Sasak tribe and the local community in the Sasak tribe. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the local wisdom of the Sasak Tribe has several character value developments in children consisting of religious values, mutual cooperation values, discipline and responsibility values, preservation of art and culture and life values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia 5–6 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental one group pretest–posttest design tanpa pengacakan subjek. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 anak usia 5–6 tahun yang terbagi ke dalam dua kelompok perlakuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji F dengan bantuan SPSS pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL dan PjBL masing-masing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak (p < 0,05) dengan besaran effect size kategori sedang hingga tinggi, yang menunjukkan pengaruh praktis yang bermakna. Selain itu, hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa PBL dan PjBL secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia 5–6 tahun. Dengan demikian, penerapan PBL dan PjBL terbukti signifikan secara statistik dan efektif secara praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia dini di satuan PAUD.
