Abstract

Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi adalah sebuah perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Propinsi Jambi yang sedang dalam tahap berkembang, dimana dalam proses perkembangan kearah yang lebih baik dalam kegiatan akademik senantiasa mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Kemendikbud. Salah satu program hibah dari Kemendikbud yang ada pada tahun 2023 ini adalah program Matching Fund, dimana kegiatan ini adalah sebuah kegiatan kompetisi hibah yang melibatkan insan dikti (dosen) dan mitra berupa DUDI (Dunia Usaha Dunia Industri) dan Pemerintah. Dimana kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan komunikasi dan sinergi keterlibatan insan dikti (dosen) dalam penerapan ilmu pengetahuan yang dimilki dalam peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat pada khususnya. Agar para dosen memahami dengan baik apa saja yang perlu dilakukan dalam persiapan pengajuan hibah tersebut, dan bisa menjalankan dengan tepat program-program yang ada dalam program Matching Fund maka dilakukan workshop dan choacing clinic.

Abstract

Sektor usaha yang paling berdampak dan banyak mengalami perubahan adalah sektor usaha dengan skala usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM). Dimana perubahan tekhnologi dalam hal penggunaan internet dalam sebuah unit usaha menjadi sangat penting. Untuk itu usaha mikro kecil dan menengah harus bisa beradaptasi dengan adanya perubahan teknologi yang sangat pesat di dalam hal penggunaan internet untuk operasional usaha dalam hal memasarkan produk – produk yang dihasilkan oleh pelaku UMKM. Elemen yang tak kalah penting nya yang harus di miliki oleh pelaku UMKM adalah legalitas usaha seperti Nomor Induk Berusaha, sertifikasi halal, P.IRT, dan BPOM. Berdasarkan evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan, dapat diidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dari kegiatan ini sehingga dapat berjalan dengan baik, antara lain yaitu dukungan penuh dari Kepala Desa Kota Karang Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Peserta KKN Posko 1 Desa Kota Karang UM Jambi yang membantu kelancaran kegiatan pengabdian, serta antusiasme masyarakat Desa Kota Karang Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, peserta sosialisasi pengabdian masyarakat. Sedangkan faktor penghambat yaitu keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana dalam memberikan sosialisasi pada waktu pelaksanaan yaitu belum adanya praktek pengemasan produk-produk yang bisa meningkatkan penjualan.. Kata Kunci : UMKM, Perizinan, Permodalan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of archery athlete development in improving performance and achievement in Jambi City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a focus on the coaching patterns implemented by archery clubs, coaches, and support from the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) Jambi. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews with coaches, athletes, and club administrators, and documentation of training and performance coaching activities. The results of the study indicate that the management of archery athlete development in Jambi City has been implemented systematically, but several obstacles remain, such as limited training facilities, inconsistent funding, and a lack of certified coach development programs. An effective coaching strategy involves performance-based training planning, regular evaluation of athlete performance, and improvement of coach competency. Synergy between KONI, clubs, and coaches is a key factor in optimizing the performance of archery athletes in Jambi City. This study is expected to provide recommendations for regional policymakers and coaches in improving the quality of athlete development in a sustainable manner..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles within the management structure of PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN) Jambi Branch. The background of this research is based on the importance of applying sound corporate governance principles to maintain transparency, accountability, and operational sustainability in the energy sector. This study employs a descriptive, qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which encompasses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of GCG at PT Elnusa Petrofin Jambi Branch has been carried out effectively and in accordance with the guidelines set by the company’s headquarters, particularly in applying the principles of responsibility and accountability. The principle of transparency is realized through routine reporting systems and internal information disclosure, although communication barriers between units still exist. The principles of independence and fairness have also been implemented through conflict-of-interest prevention policies and a fair reward system. However, challenges remain in employee training and the limited autonomy of the branch in making strategic decisions. Overall, this study concludes that the success of implementing Good Corporate Governance at the PT Elnusa Petrofin Jambi Branch is strongly influenced by management commitment, internal control systems, and an integrity-based organizational culture. These findings are expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of management science and serve as practical evaluation material for the company in strengthening professional and sustainable corporate governance. Reading comprehension not only helps students understand the content of a text but also trains them to analyze, infer, evaluate, and interpret the information conveyed within it.
