Abstract

Independent village development by Penglipuran Traditional Village combines cultural sustainability with sustainable development, maintaining local heritage and understanding of local values which is the key in maintaining authenticity and sustainability in Penglipuran Traditional Village. The research aims to explore the experience of ritual communication as a form of participation and harmony of the Penglipuran Traditional Village community which has local traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation and ancestral beliefs about the social order of the community, togetherness, and kinship in community life in harmony. This research was obtained qualitatively by using ethnographic studies through reality in an informative manner through the stages of interviews, direct observation and becoming participants. Based on the results and discussion of the process of participation of customary villages through ritual communication, it was concluded that the process of participation was fully running well. With the participation of indigenous peoples, it can be increased by interpreting a tradition. As a result of the latest data findings, rituals that are believed by the community are an influence on the integrity and maintenance of the community system so that the community actively participates.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Perkembangan media sosial menuntut generasi Z untuk memiliki literasi dan kreativitas digital yang kuat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat literasi dan kreativitas digital siswa SMAN 4 Singaraja melalui pelatihan produksi konten digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif, melibatkan 25 siswa anggota ekstrakurikuler sinematografi dan fotografi “Lensa Foursma”. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi hasil karya siswa, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam merancang ide, memproduksi, dan mengevaluasi konten digital yang komunikatif, kreatif, dan etis. Selain itu, peserta memperoleh pemahaman mengenai narasi, estetika visual, dan kolaborasi tim dalam proses produksi, sehingga pelatihan ini menjadi model efektif untuk mengembangkan literasi dan kreativitas digital generasi Z di lingkungan sekolah. Kata kunci: kreativitas digital; literasi digital; produksi konten; siswa Gen Z; SMAN 4 Singaraja ABSTRACTThe development of social media requires Generation Z to possess strong digital literacy and creativity. This study aims to strengthen the digital literacy and creativity of students at SMAN 4 Singaraja through digital content production training. The method used was qualitative descriptive with a participatory-educative approach, involving 25 students from the school’s cinematography and photography extracurricular club, “Lensa Foursma.” Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of students’ works, and analyzed descriptively. The results indicate an improvement in students’ abilities to design ideas, produce, and evaluate digital content that is communicative, creative, and ethical. In addition, participants gained an understanding of narrative, visual aesthetics, and team collaboration in content production. Therefore, this training serves as an effective model to develop digital literacy and creativity among Generation Z students in the school context. Keywords: content production; digital creativity; digital literacy; Gen Z students; SMAN 4 Singaraja.
