Abstract

Working mother frequently dealing with difficult emerged from family side and working side, working mother ought to faced simultaneous occurence when compliance one role that would make more difficult to compliance the other, that condition described as work-family conflict. Work-family conflict can be reduced by social support from husband as a significant other who can provide an encouragements, advices and also assistance to do some household and childcare. This research used quantitative non-experimental method with non-probability sampling technique with snowball sampling, the samples were 58 working mothers. Partner social support scales has coefficient reliability (α) = 0.946 consists 42 items and work-family conflict (α) = 0.946 consists 31 items. This research has result significant negative correlation (sig = 0.000 dan r = -0.532) between partner social support and work-family conflict. Working mother received high level of partner social support (27.6%) and perceived work-family conflict on low level (32.8%). Partner social support provides contribution amount 28.3% to reduce work-family conflict. The dominant dimension perceived by working mother is behaviour-based conflict that is sources from work (work interference family). Keywords: partner social support, work-family conflict, working mother

Abstract

AbstractSmoking behavior was discovered at EsaUnggul University. Students who do the smoking behavior is not only men but also women. Students of male smokers, smoking is considered reasonable thing to do, while smoking for female students, smoking assessed a way to look attractive. Female smokers believed the threat of disease from smoking will interfere with student health than male smokers. Ones beliefs on health-related behaviors called health belief. Purpose of this study was to determine differences health belief EsaUnggul University student smokers. Research includes a comparative study non-experimental. Amount 100 sample students smokers. With data retrieval technique of non-probability sampling with purposive sampling.Health measuring devices belief (valid item 33) with reliability coefficient of 0.940. Statistical results, obtained by the Sig. (2-tailed) or 0.000 (p <0.05) with a mean value of a group of male smokers student at 89.30 and the mean value of female smokers student produces mean deference by 93.56 -4.26 , There are differences health belief between student EsaUnggul University gender male and female smokers. Keywords: health belief, smoking behavior, student AbstrakPerilaku merokok masih ditemukan di Universitas esa unggul. Mahasiswa yang melakukan perilaku merokok bukan hanya laki-laki, namun juga perempuan. Bagi mahasiswa perokok laki-laki, merokok dinilai wajar untuk dilakukan, sedangkan perilaku merokok bagi mahasiswa perempuan, merokok dinilai sebagi cara untuk terlihat menarik. Mahasiswa perokok perempuan lebih meyakini ancaman penyakit dari perilaku merokok akan mengganggu kesehatannya daripada mahasiswa perokok laki-laki. Keyakinan seseorang terhadap perilaku yang berhubungan dengan kesehatan disebut dengan health belief. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan health belief mahasiswa perokok Universitas Esa Unggul berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini termasuk studi komparatif non-eksperimental. Jumlah sampel penelitian 100 mahasiswa perokok. Dengan teknik pengambilan data non-probability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Alat ukur health belief (33 aitem valid) dengan koefisiensi reabilitas 0,940. Hasil uji statistik, diperoleh nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0.000 atau (p < 0.05) dengan nilai mean dari kelompok mahasiswa perokok laki-laki sebesar 89,30 dan nilai mean dari mahasiswa perokok perempuan sebesar 93,56 menghasilkan mean deference -4.26. Terdapat perbedaan health belief antara mahasiswa perokoko laki-laki dan mahasiswa perokok perempuan. Kata kunci :health belief, perilaku merokok, mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas psikoedukasi untuk meningkatkan sikap positif guru dalam menghadapi anak yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus pada proses pembelajaran di kelas. Metode penelitian adalah Quasi-experimental dengan desain The One Group Pretest-Post test Design. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan survei menggunakan skala sikap yang diberikan melalui pretest dan post test untuk mengukur aspek kognitif, afektif, dan perilaku guru terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus. Intervensi yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan psikoedukasi kepada 18 orang guru yang merupakan perwakilan dari 6 Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Makassar Kota Jakarta Timur yang berupa pengenalan anak berkebutuhan dan sikap yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang guru dalam memfasilitasi anak berkebutuhan khusus belajar di kelas. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan nonparametrik Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa probabilitas sebesar 0,019, nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa probabilitas di bawah 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa psikoedukasi dapat meningkatkan sikap para guru dalam memfasilitasi anak berkebutuhan khusus yang diukur melalui perbedaan nilai pretest dan posttest.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine the attitudes of teachers and educators in dealing with early childhood who have special needs in the learning process in the classroom. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and surveys using an attitude scale that measures cognitive, affective, and behavior of teachers and educators towards early childhood with special needs. The results showed that 17 subjects had good knowledge about children with special needs, 17 subjects (100%) had bad emotions towards children with special needs, and 17 subjects (100%) had bad behavior towards children with special needs.

Abstract

Math is very necessary in everyday life. However, mathematics literacy in Indonesia is still low. Some students who have low mathematical literacy skills are associated with Math anxiety. Math anxiety is a student's emotional state that causes students avoid math lessons. The student felt symptoms of physical pain, dizziness, fear and panic when they are studying math. Students also find difficulties when they do math, they avoid math classes. And can’t do math test questions. As a result, their mathecatical performance is decreases. This research provide an overview of Math anxiety in high school students. This type of research is descriptive research with a random sampling technique involving 100 high school students aged 15 to 21 years. The results of this research show that 56% of high school students experience Math anxiety in the high category and 44% in the low category.
