Abstract

The easier it is to access the internet, almost all human activities are helped. One example is the sale and purchase of goods to the delivery of the ordered goods to the buyer's house. This is increasingly widespread after the emergence of several marketplaces that collaborate with shipping service providers to deliver ordered goods to buyers' homes. Problems occur when the shipping courier who comes to the buyer's house does not meet the buyer or the buyer's relatives to receive the ordered goods. So that there is a tendency for the courier to put the ordered goods in any place which can cause the goods to be lost. Based on this, a solution will be given in this research, by making a low-cost smart locker for home users to receive goods ordered from online shopping safely without having to meet face-to-face with conventional buyers. In addition to helping receive goods automatically and safely, the use of this smart locker will also minimize buyer contact with couriers directly, in order to break the chain of spread and transmission of several viruses, including Covid-19.

Abstract

Effective management of regional assets is crucial for efficient government administration and community service delivery. Proper asset management ensures transparency, efficiency, and accountability in regional property management, supporting key tasks and functions of the government. Efficient asset management empowers local governments to fund regional development and enhances public confidence in state finance management. The rapid development of information technology presents unique challenges, especially in asset management within educational institutions. This study focuses on implementing the Risk-Based Asset Management (RBAM) method in a Web-Based Asset Management Information System. RBAM categorizes requests by risk levels, generates monthly data analysis, and aids in anticipating item stock quantities. The integrated RBAM is expected to enhance inventory management efficiency, improving responsiveness to demand fluctuations. This journal presents research findings related to RBAM implementation, aiming to enhance asset management performance in the government context. The study employs the Research and Development method, fitting for software engineering research. The development utilizes the waterfall model, ensuring a structured software development process. The system streamlines item data management, reporting requests, enhancing facility inventory management.

Abstract

Crimes that are often reported in the mass media make people feel less safe, especially if you look at the number of crimes that occur every year. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) the number of crimes that occurred during the period 2017 – 2019 averaged 300,085 cases annually. Of the many problems that occur, it is necessary to use an appropriate application to disseminate emergency information by considering how the victim reports, the time it takes for the victim to report, and the accuracy of the reporting data. With the development of the Panic Button application, it is hoped that it will make it easier to contact the surrounding community in delivering an emergency. Where the system will send a notification to the user's cell phone and turn on an alarm. In its development, the author uses the Global Positioning System to get location coordinates, Firebase Push Notification as a notification message sender and Arduino Wemos D1 as an alarm system driving mechanism.

Abstract

The student admission process for boarding and semi-boarding vocational schools involves complex administrative, academic, and socio-economic criteria, which often lead to inefficiencies and inconsistencies when handled manually. This study proposes a web-based student admission system integrating a rule-based expert system to automate multi-stage selection processes in vocational high schools managed by the Central Java Provincial Government. The system was developed using a Research and Development approach with the Agile Scrum methodology. Knowledge representation is implemented through IF–THEN rules derived from officially verified admission guidelines, enabling automated scoring, ranking, and admission decisions. The proposed system was applied across three boarding schools and fifteen semi-boarding schools during the 2024 admission period. The results indicate that the system reduces processing time, improves scoring consistency, and enhances transparency and accountability in decision-making. This study demonstrates that integrating a rule-based expert system with official admission regulations provides an effective and scalable solution for large-scale student selection processes.
