Abstract

The community service activity in the form of a Learning Motivation Seminar was carried out by KKN students from Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia University at SD Negeri Gadog 02, Sukajadi Village, involving 86 fourth-grade students. The program aimed to enhance students' motivation to pursue higher education. The low interest in continuing education was the main issue, prompting the KKN MD-V-03 group to organize this seminar. The methods used included initial observations, presentations, interactive discussions, as well as games and simulations to increase student participation. As a result, the students showed increased motivation, marked by their active engagement and courage in presenting their aspirations. This seminar not only provided short-term benefits but also motivated students to continue their education to higher levels. In conclusion, this program successfully boosted students' learning enthusiasm and raised awareness of the importance of education.

Abstract

The industrial era 4.0 is a new phase in the development of technology in agriculture. Technologies such as drones, sensors, cloud computing, and agricultural automation are examples of the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) as technological advances in agriculture. Moringa is rich in beneficial nutrients, especially for pregnant and lactating mothers so that it can prevent stunting. Internet of Things (IoT) technology is applied to monitor the growth conditions of Moringa in real time, increasing harvest yields in terms of quality and quantity. This program has proven effective in increasing the understanding of the Cangkring village community and can be used as a way to prevent stunting, as well as improve the quality of life in areas with a high prevalence of stunting

Abstract

Panduman Village has abundant natural resource potential, fertile land, and the majority of people work as farmers, thus supporting this village as one of the contributors to agricultural products in the form of chili commodities in Jember Regency. The productivity of chilies (Capsicum annum L.) often experiences a decline in productivity due to attacks by pests such as thrips, whitefly (Bemisia tabaci), and yellow virus or Pepper Yellow Leaf Curl Indonesia Virus (PYLCIV). Alternative control that can be carried out by farmers is the application of vegetable pesticides, which are not only economical and easy to obtain, but can also reduce pest resistance rates and chemical residues. The methods used in this activity are socialization, training and evaluation which are carried out in the form of pretest-posttest. The result was that 100% of participants understood the material and training that had been provided and were interested in and supported the sustainability of this training programs.

Abstract

Jember Regency has potential in the agricultural sector with abundant biodiversity, as well as a community culture that respects nature. This potential has not been managed optimally due to various problems such as limited creativity and knowledge of farmers regarding production, access, and limited market opportunities. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to empower the community through technology transfer, one of which is the manufacture of solid organic fertilizer from local ingredients in Jember district. This activity is an effort made to create environmentally friendly agriculture and can reduce organic waste pollution, one of which is animal waste. The specific aim of carrying out this activity is so that farmers can process organic materials in the surrounding environment to make organic fertilizer, thereby reducing farmers' dependence on inorganic fertilizers. This training in making organic fertilizer can increase farmers' knowledge and skills in increasing soil fertility and increasing production using organic materials. Implementation methods include socialization or counseling and training.
