Abstract

Hypertension is one of the biggest contributors to the death cause in the world. This disease arises due to an unhealthy lifestyle and improper diet. In order to fulfill proper nutrition for people with hypertension, the composition of food for people with this disease needs to be regulated to produce optimal results according to their needs with the Improved Particle Swarm Optimization (IPSO) algorithm. Data collection was carried out on 96 patients with 1000 particles, a maximum iteration of 1000 and acceleration coefficients , , serta . The results show that the best fitness is 6,284 determined by price Rp 28.000 and 14 different variety of food. Based on the tests, the IPSO algorithm is effective in optimizing the nutrition of food composition with an accuracy rate of more than 99%.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the portofolio of stocks included in the IDX30 index using the Mean-Variance model developed by Markowitz. The Lagrange Multiplier method is used in this study to determine the optimal fund allocation by minimizing risk and optimizing expected return. The data used is the daily closing price of stocks from 15 companies listed in the IDX30 index over the last five years (2019-2024). The results show that the Mean-Variance and Lagrange Multiplier methods are effective in identifying the optimal portofolio that can minimize investment risk while maximizing returns

Abstract

In this study, we propose to determine option pricing by using Black-Scholes model numerically. The Keller box method, a numerical method with a box-shaped implicit scheme, is chosen to solve the problem of pricing stock options, especially European-put option. This option pricing involves several parameters such as stock price volatility, risk-free interest rate and strike price. The numerical stability of the method is checked using Von Neumann stability before the simulation is conducted. The influence of interest rates, volatility, and strike price on the option price state that the higher the value of the interest rate parameter, the lower the option price value, while the greater the value of stock price volatility and strike price, the higher the option price.

Abstract

In the face of current business competition, existing companies are competing with each other to get optimal output in order to compete with other companies. One of the steps that can be taken to be able to obtain optimal output is to choose potential suppliers in obtaining profits. This research uses the fuzzy analytical hierachy process method with the aim of knowing the priority of suppliers who will cooperate and also the goal programming method with the aim of determining the allocation of rice orders in order to minimize purchase costs, minimize the percentage of defects, maximize supplier weight and meet supply targets. The results of supplier 1, supplier 2, and supplier 3 weights are 0.3145; 0.3489; 0.3365 respectively. The goal programming method provides a better solution than the current order allocation. The total purchase cost set by the company did not decrease or increase but the total defective orders decreased by 23.43% in one year.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of the deadliest diseases. Factors that can cause diabetes mellitus are irregular eating patterns and unhealthy lifestyles. Patients with diabetes mellitus must have a healthy diet by identifying the optimal food composition so as not to trigger complications with various other deadly diseases. Identification of food composition was carried out using a hybrid adaptive genetic algorithm and modified simulated annealing. Based on the patient testing results, the average accuracy for carbohydrates, protein, fat, sodium, fiber, and calories was 99.90%, 99.72%, 99.33%, 99.99%, 99.29%, and 99.86%, respectively.
