Abstract

Italia Bakery is one of the bakeries in Bandar Lampung that produces various types of sandwiches, namely meat bread, and green bean bread. The Italian Bakery factory has difficulty in determining the optimal amount of bread production as well as controlling the right amount of raw materials. This causes losses for the factory because bread that is not worth the market will be thrown away, as a result of which the profits obtained do not reach the maximum limit. This problem can be solved by planning the optimal production amount based on the amount of raw material supply and the amount of demand with fuzzy linear programming methods. Results that have been completed with fuzzy linear programming that is still a fractional number can be rounded using the branch and bound method. Based on the results of research conducted, it is known that the use of both methods can increase the company's profits by 8,17%.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the biggest contributors to the death cause in the world. This disease arises due to an unhealthy lifestyle and improper diet. In order to fulfill proper nutrition for people with hypertension, the composition of food for people with this disease needs to be regulated to produce optimal results according to their needs with the Improved Particle Swarm Optimization (IPSO) algorithm. Data collection was carried out on 96 patients with 1000 particles, a maximum iteration of 1000 and acceleration coefficients , , serta . The results show that the best fitness is 6,284 determined by price Rp 28.000 and 14 different variety of food. Based on the tests, the IPSO algorithm is effective in optimizing the nutrition of food composition with an accuracy rate of more than 99%.

Abstract

In a production process, it is necessary to carry out a production planning so that the company gets the maximum profit at the minimum cost. Each place of production has several goals to be achieved, these goals do not always have the same level of importance. There are several goals that have varying degrees of importance. This problem can be solved by using the preemptive goal and branch and bond method. The results of the study show that, to achieve all the desired goals/objectives the Istiqomah tofu factory has to produce 638 packs of white tofu, 360 packs of yellow tofu and 360 packs of Chinese tofu so that the factory's profit could increase by 13.43% or Rp237.000,00perday.

Abstract

In the face of current business competition, existing companies are competing with each other to get optimal output in order to compete with other companies. One of the steps that can be taken to be able to obtain optimal output is to choose potential suppliers in obtaining profits. This research uses the fuzzy analytical hierachy process method with the aim of knowing the priority of suppliers who will cooperate and also the goal programming method with the aim of determining the allocation of rice orders in order to minimize purchase costs, minimize the percentage of defects, maximize supplier weight and meet supply targets. The results of supplier 1, supplier 2, and supplier 3 weights are 0.3145; 0.3489; 0.3365 respectively. The goal programming method provides a better solution than the current order allocation. The total purchase cost set by the company did not decrease or increase but the total defective orders decreased by 23.43% in one year.

Abstract

The rapid growth of coffee shops in Lampung has increased demand for Robusta Lampung, Arabica Kerinci, and Arabica Aceh Gayo, causing stockouts and overstocking at a coffee roastery. This study uses the Period Order Quantity (POQ) method to optimize inventory by ordering based on predictable demand periods, reducing order frequency and costs. Using demand data from the last six months of the year, POQ outperforms the manual inventory policy. Assuming a 5% holding cost and 90%–99% service levels (ensuring product availability), POQ reduces costs by 0.119%–0.163%, boosting profitability. Adopting POQ with real-time demand tracking can balance inventory and meet rising demand.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of the deadliest diseases. Factors that can cause diabetes mellitus are irregular eating patterns and unhealthy lifestyles. Patients with diabetes mellitus must have a healthy diet by identifying the optimal food composition so as not to trigger complications with various other deadly diseases. Identification of food composition was carried out using a hybrid adaptive genetic algorithm and modified simulated annealing. Based on the patient testing results, the average accuracy for carbohydrates, protein, fat, sodium, fiber, and calories was 99.90%, 99.72%, 99.33%, 99.99%, 99.29%, and 99.86%, respectively.
