Abstract

Purpose:This research aims to explore the contribution of female agricultural workers in strengthening family economic resilience from a sharia economic perspective.Design/Method/Approach:This research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The informants in this research were 10 female farm workers in Koto Balingka District. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation and data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.Findings: The research results highlight the significant role of female agricultural workers in three main aspects of agricultural activities, namely planting, weeding and harvesting.Among the three forms of agricultural labor, women tend to dominate the role in weeding and harvesting in the agricultural sector. Not only are there differences in the division of labor, but in terms of wages there are also differences where women's wages are IDR 80,000 per day, while men's wages are IDR 100,000.Factors that encourage women to work as agricultural laborers include difficult economic conditions, low levels of education, and limited employment opportunities. Their participation has a very important impact on the economic security of the family, because their contribution helps improve the economic stability of the household. However, we need to recognize that there are negative impacts, such as changes in traditional roles within the family. The role of female agricultural workers in increasing family economic resilience can also be understood from a sharia economic perspective. By paying attention to indicators of family economic resilience, their role can be considered to have made a significant contributionOriginality/Values: this research analyzes the economic contribution of female agricultural workers to the family's income and economic resilience from a sharia economic perspective. This research aims to evaluate the role of gender in agricultural activities and assess the economic welfare of the families of female agricultural workers within the framework of sharia economics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research trends on forced marriage and gender-based violence (GBV) within the context of Islamic guidance and counseling (BKI) using bibliometric methods and the VOSviewer software. The issues of forced marriage and GBV are complex social problems that significantly impact women, both psychologically and socially. In addressing these issues, BKI offers an approach that aligns with Islamic principles, emphasizing justice, equality, and respect for human dignity. This research employs bibliometric analysis to map the development of the topic, identify prominent authors, and explore the relationships among concepts and keywords in scientific literature. The data used were obtained from the Scopus-indexed journal database, using the keywords "forced marriage" and "gender violence." VOSviewer software was utilized for visualizing keyword networks and conducting co-authorship analysis. The results show the development of research on forced marriage and gender-based violence during the period of 2015–2025 based on Scopus data. The year 2020 recorded the highest number of publications, with 11 articles published. Subsequently, the number of publications tended to decline, with the lowest numbers recorded in 2015 and 2017, each with only 2 articles. In terms of institutions and journals publishing scientific work on forced marriage and gender violence, the journal Violence Against Women dominated with four articles addressing these topics, indicating a significant contribution to the discourse in this field. The Journal of Conflict and Health ranked second, followed by the Journal of Gender Studies in third place in terms of the number of publications related to this subject."

Abstract

In Indonesia's legal system, which is a state based on law (rechstaat), positive law is enforced, namely the law that applies in a certain place at a certain time as a valid legal system. The type of research used is library research, which involves the use of written materials such as manuscripts, books, magazines, newspapers, and other documents containing information about inheritance and gift laws currently in force in Indonesia, both according to Islamic law and Indonesian civil law. The nature of the research in this article is descriptive-analytical, which is research that aims to describe in detail the characteristics or features of a developing or ongoing situation as an influence in producing legal products in accordance with the developments of the times and places, which in this case will attempt to explain the importance of legal interpretation of legislation to produce fair and beneficial laws. The relationship between law and society is reciprocal; sometimes law influences society, and vice versa, society influences law. However, due to the value of legal certainty in a fixed rule that has been codified in the form of legislation, the law is sometimes understood in a static and rigid manner, thereby failing to provide justice and benefit in certain cases.  Thus, it can be said that the method of interpretation is one of several methods for discovering laws that have value in terms of justice and benefit, especially methods that must be mastered by judges in court proceedings, including grammatical, historical, systematic, extensive, restrictive, valid, teleological, interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, comparative, and futuristic interpretations. In terms of relevance, legal interpretation methods are highly significant for the development of law characterized by certainty, justice, and public welfare, such as in the fields of Islamic family law and Islamic economics.
