Abstract

Restaurants are public facilities that can be found in several places including campus areas. The phenomenon of urban society is the habit of instant life that has the potential to increase stress but it is not matched by activities to achieve balance. Public facilities such as restaurants can contribute to providing such balance through the selection of appropriate design styles and approaches. The combination of contemporary style with the biophilia approach as a form of human affiliation with nature is the answer to the needs of urban people who crave harmony in life. The more advanced an era is, it is directly proportional to the development of furniture design as one of the interior elements. Multifunctional furniture now dominates the market with the presence of new problems in an increasingly modern world. One of them is the planter bench, which is furniture that can accommodate sitting needs and give a touch of nature both through shape, material, and supporting elements such as. Abstract

This research is an Interior Design Planning process for the Geological Information Center (GIC) Building in East Belitung, which applies the characteristics of East Belitung's cultural identity. This research was motivated by a plan from the Geological Survey Center, Geological Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2019, which was the need for the availability of GIC Buildings and Interiors specifically for the East Belitung district. The facility will later function as an Information Center regarding the diversity of rock types contained in the earth of Belitung, which will become one of the geotourism destinations. The purpose of this research is to produce an Interior design of the East Belitung GIC that applies the cultural characteristics of Belitung, with a form that combines modern style in Modern Facilities with elements of local culture as a distinctive feature. The design process is carried out through an interior design planning approach.

Abstract

Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat, memiliki kekayaan budaya Sunda yang menjadi identitas utama dalam perkembangan seni, arsitektur, dan desain interior. Namun, penerapan budaya lokal dalam desain hotel modern masih terbatas dan cenderung hanya bersifat dekoratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan unsur kesenian budaya Sunda pada desain interior lobby Hotel Mercure Nexa Bandung Supratman. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi lapangan, wawancara singkat, serta studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi elemen budaya lokal yang terintegrasi dalam interior. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan unsur Sunda terlihat pada penggunaan bentuk dasar geometris (persegi, segitiga, lingkaran) yang memiliki makna filosofis dalam babasan dan paribasa Sunda, penerapan anyaman tradisional, serta pemilihan warna simbolis seperti hitam, hijau, biru, kuning, dan ungu. Meskipun hotel ini berkonsep modern, penerapan elemen budaya Sunda memberikan identitas lokal yang memperkuat citra Bandung sebagai kota budaya. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi budaya lokal dalam desain interior hotel sebagai strategi pelestarian nilai tradisi sekaligus peningkatan daya tarik pariwisata.Kata Kunci: desain interior, budaya Sunda, hotel, lobby, identitas lokal

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembangunan pusat perbelanjaan modern (mall) memerlukan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan yang cermat guna mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan terutama dalam mewujudkan keunikan dan kenyamanan serta keamanan pada setiap tenant . Guna mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan manajeman mall mempunyai bidang fit out   untuk menjadi coordinator ruang sewa mall yang dapat membantu penyewa dalam mempersiapakan tenant  hingga pembukaan toko sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Salah satunya pada tenant  toko PLAYWORKS yang ada di Summarecon Mall Bandung. Penerapan fit out   pada tenant  toko PLAYWORKS difokuskan untuk membantu jalannya perencanaan dan Pembangunan toko tersebut berjalan dengan baik sesuai standar yang berlaku pada summarecon mall bandung. Kata kunci: mall, fit out  , summarecon mall bandung, PLAYWORKS ABSTRACT The construction of a modern shopping center (mall) requires careful planning and implementation to achieve the desired goals, especially in realizing uniqueness, comfort and security for each tenant . In order to achieve the desired goals, mall management has a fit out   department to become a mall rental space coordinator who can assist tenant s in preparing tenant s to open shops in accordance with established standards. One of them is the PLAYWORKS shop tenant  at Summarecon Mall Bandung.
