Abstract

Gerakan sosial adalah upaya kolektif dalam suatu negara untuk mengatasi masalah sosial dan menemukan solusi, memberdayakan masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi gerakan-gerakan ini termasuk kurangnya dukungan bagi orang miskin, menghormati batas-batas, penolakan terhadap pemimpin elit, apatisme, dan polarisasi politik. Organisasi sosial tidak terbatas pada partisipasi dalam kegiatan, tetapi dapat digunakan sebagai bentuk demonstrasi. Penelitian telah dilakukan untuk memahami konsep, dinamika, dan pentingnya hubungan sosial dalam Studi Masyarakat Demokratik. Organisasi sosial sangat penting untuk mempertahankan martabat sosial, meningkatkan kemampuan pemerintah, dan mendorong inovasi sosial. Mendukung dan memahami organisasi sosial dapat berkontribusi untuk membangun dan mempromosikan demokrasi yang sehat dan efektif.

Abstract

Flooding is a disaster that comes from nature directly, whether it is caused by the frequency of high rainfall or the capacity of rivers that are unable to stem the swift flow of water. Thus, appropriate measures (Mitigation) are needed to be able to cope with flood natural disasters. This research intends to conduct an in-depth field study related to flood disasters in Kudus Regency and its mitigation guidelines. Then the researcher evaluates whether the mitigation measures can have a significant impact on the decline of flood natural disasters in Kudus Regency. The research method in this study applies qualitative with a field study approach style. Based on the previous research, it was found that several measures have been taken to mitigate the occurrence of flood disasters. However, these steps have in fact not been able to overcome flooding in Kudus Regency. Based on the results of an in-depth analytical study by applying the theory of policy effectiveness by Joseph John Campbell, it was found that several flood disaster mitigation efforts carried out by the Kudus Regency Government were still ineffective because they had not been able to significantly reduce the incidence of flooding. Policy improvements and more assertive program implementation are needed so that the results are more optimal.

Abstract

In Indonesia's economic development, there are several issues and challenges that need to be addressed to achieve the desired progress. The following paper will explore in more depth the issues and problems of economic development that occur in Kudus Regency. The study conducted in this research uses the literature research method. The results of this research explain that first, national development aims to improve welfare and build a developed country with community participation and government support. However, development failures often stem from structural problems that require comprehensive solutions. Second, economic development in Kudus Regency is influenced by the Covid-19 Pandemic, SDGs, global economic crisis, environmentally friendly economy, natural disasters, and green space control. Third, the solution to improving economic development in Kudus Regency involves granting special autonomy to the regions. Economic diversification, job training, infrastructure improvement, innovation, and transparency in development policies are the key steps to achieve the goal.
