Abstract

Acute respiratory infection is a health problematic in Islamic boarding school. Lack of student awareness in maintaining health causes an increase in acute respiratory infections. This community service aims to increase the knowledge, skills and awareness of students in improving immunity and preventing acute respiratory infection. The method used is participatory action research (PAR), which is divided into four stages, namely focus group discussions, education, making herbal supplements, and evaluation. Focus group discussion was participated by some element, including coordinator of santri husada, santri husada, basic health service and students. Education was presented as lectures, discussion and consultation about immunity elevation. Education was conducted in several days for student in A1, A2, B, and M’hadul Quran dormitory to encourage more students. The next step was training to make herbal supplement, which attended by 42 students. The Forty-two student were divided into six groups to make herbal drink and instant supplement drink. Based on training evaluation, the education and training increased the knowledge and skill of participants. In summary, this activity increase health immune knowledge and supplement making of students.

Abstract

Career guidance is one of the important aspects in the world of education and self-development that aims to help individuals understand their potential, interests, and talents in order to plan and achieve appropriate career goals. The type of research is a qualitative approach with a case study method. The findings of this study discuss 1) Definition of career guidance, 2) Purpose of career guidance, 3) Benefits of career guidance, 4) Types of basic services in career guidance, 5) Career guidance service process, 6) Importance of self-development in career services, 7) Career guidance theory, 8) Challenges and obstacles, 9) The role of technology in career services, and 10) Examples of career services. This study aims to understand social, cultural, or human behavioral phenomena in depth that focus on the meaning, experience, and perspective of individuals or groups and can use descriptive data in the form of written or spoken language and then prioritize the depth of data, not the quantity of data.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit metabolisme kronik yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan glukosa dalam darah. Mekanisme terjadinya diabetes mellitus sangat kompleks, salah satunya melalui aktivasi fosforilasi jalur MAPK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi senyawa siphonaxantin sebagai antidiabetes melalui penghambatan protein kinase C (PKC) dalam mekanisme fosforilasi secara in silico. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan in silico dengan molecular docking. Struktur 3D protein kinase C (PKC) diunduh dari database Protein Data Bank dengan kode akses PDB ID 3TXO. Struktur siphonaxantin diunduh dari PubChem NCBI dengan ID 11204185. Senyawa 2,6 – Naphthyridines  digunakan sebagai kontrol pembanding yang diperoleh dari protein data Bank 3TXO. Protein, senyawa pembanding dan siphonaxanting di docking dengan program molegro virtual docker dan dianalisis dengan PyMol 2.3 dan Discovery Studio ver.21.1..1. Senyawa siphonaxanthin berikatan dengan protein kinase C pada beberapa residu dengan 4 ikatan hydrogen dan 11 interaksi hidrofobik. Siphonaxantin juga menunjukkan daerah ikatan yang sama dengan 2, 6 – Naphthyridines, inhibitor control pada residu VAL369 dan PHE366. Berdasarkan energi ikatan, senyawa siphonaxanthin menunjukkan energi ikatan yang lebih rendah dari 2,6 napthyridines, yakni -258,6 kJ/mol. Penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa siphonaxantin berpotensi sebagai kandidat obat antidiabetes dengan menghambat aktivasi fosforilasi oleh protein kinase C (PKC). Penelitian in vitro dan in vivo diperlukan untuk identifikasi lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek hipoglikemia formula herbal antidiabetes secara in vivo. Herbal yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu simplisia daun kencana wungu, kayu secang, kayu manis, dan daun jati cina, dengan formula rasio yang digunakan 5:2:2:1 (F5221) dan rasio 3:3:2:2 (F3322). Sebanyak 12 tikus betina strain wistar dikelompokkan menjadi empat kelompok dengan jumlah masing-masing kelompok 3 ekor tikus. Kelompok perlakuan antara lain tikus normal, tikus diabetes mellitus (DMT2), tikus DMT2+ F3322, dan tikus DMT2+F5221. Tikus model diabetes mellitus diinduksi dengan menginjeksikan 175 mg/Kg BB alloxan secara subkutan dan melakukan observasi kadar glukosa darah 3

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced the field of personality assessment. This study explores the integration of big data into personality assessment practices and aims to identify both the challenges and opportunities that arise from this development. A systematic literature review was conducted, drawing from peer-reviewed journals, research reports, and recent case studies in the domains of psychology, data science, and human resource management. The findings reveal that big data allows for the continuous, real-time analysis of individual behavior patterns, enabling personality traits to be assessed in a more dynamic and contextual manner. This approach improves the precision and scalability of traditional assessment methods. However, several challenges persist, including concerns related to algorithmic bias, data privacy, informed consent, and ethical data governance. The study concludes that while big data has the potential to revolutionize personality assessment by making it more adaptive, predictive, and efficient, its implementation must be accompanied by robust ethical standards and regulatory frameworks. These safeguards are essential to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in the interpretation and use of personality data in both clinical and organizational settings.
