<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan sanksi terhadap pelaku tindak pidana Ilegal Loging dalam Putusan Nomor 249/pid.B/LH/2023/PN Wtp dan menganalisis upaya pelestarian hutan dalam Kawasan Hutan Produksi Terbatas. Penelitian ini di lakukan di Pengadilan Negeri Watampone dan Kantor Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan (KPH) Ulubila, dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, Penjatuhkan sanksi pidana administratif berupa denda Rp2.500.000,00. karena meskipun ada unsur tindak pidana Ilegal Logging, pelanggaran tidak menyebabkan kerusakan besar dan faktor meringankan terdakwa diperhitungkan. Pidana administratif dianggap cukup untuk memberikan efek jera tanpa memberatkan terdakwa secara berlebihan. Di sisi lain upaya-upaya yang di lakukan oleh Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan (KPH) Ulubila, dalam melestarikan hutan telah menerapkan sistem Agroforestri selain itu reklamasi kawasan hutan, melakukan patroli dan pengawasan rutin secara berkala di sekitar kawasan Hutan Lindung dan Hutan Produksi serta melakukan sosialisasi penyuluhan lingkungan terhadap masyarakat This research aims to analyze the application of sanctions against perpetrators of the crime of Illegal Logging in Decision Number 249/pid.B/LH/2023/PN Wtp and analyze forest conservation efforts in Limited Production Forest Areas. This research was conducted at the Watampone District Court and the Ulubila Forest Management Unit (KPH) Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Office, using descriptive qualitative research with interview and literature study data collection techniques. The research results show that, administrative criminal sanctions are imposed in the form of a fine of IDR 2,500,000.00. because even though there are elements of the crime of Illegal Logging, the violation did not cause major damage and the defendant's mitigating factors were taken into account. Administrative punishment is considered sufficient to provide a deterrent effect without overly burdening the defendant. On the other hand, the efforts made by the Ulubila Forest Management Unit (KPH) Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), in preserving forests have implemented an Agroforestry system in addition to reclamation of forest areas, carrying out regular routine patrols and monitoring around Protected Forest areas and Production Forest as well as conducting environmental education outreach to the community]]>
