Abstract

Stunting remains a significant public health challenge globally, particularly affecting children's growth and development. This study investigates the strategies used by healthcare workers at Brayan health center to search for and promote health information related to stunting, as well as the obstacles they encounter in these efforts. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed qualitatively. Results show that healthcare workers primarily use exploration strategies by searching for information through Google and collect relevant data for dissemination. The main promotion strategy involves social support through multi-sectoral meetings to enhance collaboration. However, several challenges hinder these efforts, including restricted access to scientific articles behind paywalls, a shortage of dedicated health promotion staff, and limited feedback from local stakeholders, especially village leaders. These barriers affect the efficiency and reach of stunting-related health promotion activities. The study concludes that addressing these constraints by improving information access, increasing human resources, and fostering stronger stakeholder engagement is essential to optimize stunting prevention programs at Brayan health center .

Abstract

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia is still high and is a major challenge in the health system, especially in the labor phase. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the BPJS patient labor referral system in reducing MMR at the Gunung Tinggi Health Center. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach to health workers at the Gunung Tinggi Health Center. The results of the study showed that the availability of competent health workers, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and a referral system integrated with BPJS have made a positive contribution to labor services. However, challenges were still found in the form of late responses from referral hospitals, geographical constraints, and low public health literacy regarding the importance of referrals. This study concludes that strengthening the coordination system between facilities and educating the community is very important in increasing the effectiveness of the referral system and reducing maternal mortality.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of health logistics planning and procurement in ensuring drug availability at the Medan Sunggal Health Center. The availability of drugs that are timely and as needed is very important in supporting optimal health services. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation related to the planning process and drug procurement. The results showed that although the planning system has followed standard procedures such as e-Planning and e-Logistics filling, there are still obstacles such as delays in distribution, discrepancies between planning and realization of needs, and limited human resources in monitoring. Efforts such as improved coordination with the Health Office and training of logistics officers are important to overcome these obstacles. With more effective logistics planning and procurement, drug availability can be better ensured and health services to the community will improve
