Abstract

Plurality has become an endless debate by Islamic scholars in finding truth in knowledge. The study aims to analyze the plurality of truth from the perspective of hushuli science (knowledge by correspondence) and its application. The approach that researchers use is qualitative with the content analysis method, which is an analytical study of ideas or products of plurality thinking that begins with describing the primary ideas that are the object of research. Ideas are obtained from primary and secondary texts. The results concluded that there is a plurality of truth knowledge in the perspective of hushuli science. The diversity of truth is a necessity and must be accepted. This plurality of truth can be a foothold in developing tolerance among religious people. The truth of knowledge is not homogeneous but heterogeneous. This fact must be a foothold in teaching about the multiculturalism that exists in life. The results of this study are expected to be able to make a positive contribution to the life of a plural society in order to realize that plurality should not be opposed to each other but to coexist in the frame of togetherness.

Abstract

In his theory of idealism, Plato emphasized that to achieve perfection, every student must take a tiered education from childhood to tertiary level. For this reason, through this research, the researcher aims to reveal Plato’s idealistic theory regarding the concept of education. Researchers use a qualitative descriptive approach and content analysis methods to find meaning, measure and correspond to each word and concept in the text. Researchers also attempt to describe and analyze Plato’s ideas of idealism in education. The results of this research then gave rise to the concept of position, process, goals/achievements, and stages of learning based on Plato’s ideological perspective. Henceforth, it is hoped that it will be able to contribute significantly to the world of education.

Abstract

The Cikondang indigenous community, one of the indigenous communities in Bandung Regency, holds a wealth of rich and diverse cultural values, including Islamic and timeless values that serve as guidelines for life. However, in an era of modernization and rapid environmental change, challenges to the preservation of such traditions and values are increasing. A lack of understanding and documentation regarding the relationship between these values and harmony with nature can result in the loss of cultural identity and damage the balance of local ecosystems. Therefore, this research aims to explore and analyze existing literature to understand how Islamic and perennial values are reflected in the traditions of the Cikondang community and how these values can contribute to efforts to maintain harmony between humans and nature. The research method used is a literature review. The selected literature includes journal articles, books, and academic sources relevant to the themes of local wisdom, religious values, and community relations with the environment, with a focus on publications from the last two decades. The results demonstrate that there is an integration of Islamic and perennial values in the Cikondang indigenous community. These values create a social system that encourages collaboration between humans and nature, where the Cikondang people see themselves as part of the ecosystem, not its master. Islamic values address environmental management, such as the concept of khalifah (stewardship), encouraging people to preserve natural resources. Similarly, perennial values promote respect for nature and encourage strengthening the relationship between humans and nature.
