Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Quizizz as an assessment tool for English language learning. The study highlights Quizizz's potential to enhance student engagement and motivation through its interactive, game-based format. Employing a mixed-method approach, this research involved planning and execution stages to observe the impact of Quizizz on students' understanding of "Obligation and Necessity." Findings indicate that Quizizz not only increases student participation but also provides immediate feedback, aiding both students and teachers in assessing comprehension and areas for improvement. Challenges, such as limited digital access and technical literacy, were addressed through supportive interventions. This research supports Quizizz as an effective, engaging assessment medium, offering recommendations for future improvements in digital learning assessments. Abstract

A significant increase in the use of antibiotics in the community is often not matched by a proper understanding of their use, potentially leading to antibiotic resistance. This research aims to educate the community about the importance of proper antibiotic use and the utilization of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) as alternative medicine. Community service activities were carried out on November 24, 2024 in Salam Mulya Village, Pondok Salam District, Purwakarta Regency, in collaboration with Holistic Purwakarta Hospital. The methods used included education and discussion, with the distribution of brochures containing information on the use of antibiotics and TOGA. The results of the activity showed that the community showed high enthusiasm for the education provided, with 50 participants attending and actively participating in the discussion. The positive response from the community showed an increased understanding of the importance of the correct use of antibiotics and the utilization of herbal medicines. It is hoped that this activity can be continued and developed to increase public awareness about health.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model Argument Driven Inquiry berbasis Socio-Scientific Issues dalam pembelajaran fisika pada materi energi terbarukan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest pada peserta didik kelas X SMAN 7 Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, tes kemampuan argumentasi berbasis Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP), dan angket respons peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berada dalam kategori sangat baik (>95%), peningkatan signifikan kemampuan argumentasi dengan rata-rata N-gain 0,82 (kategori tinggi), dan respons peserta didik sangat positif (>91%). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model ADI berbasis SSI mampu meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi peserta didik secara ilmiah.
