Abstract

Global changes and demands for scientific progress The background for this research, as a fiqh teacher should be we can create learning that produces quality Education. So teachers have to anticipate it in various ways various learning methods and models that can improve student exploration and contribution so as to improve results student learning using the discovery learning method. In this research we focus on two problem points: (1) how implementation of discovery learning learning methods in increase students' understanding of fiqh subjects in MA Nurul Jadid? (2) how will student learning outcomes improve after through discovery learning methods in subjects fiqh at MA Nurul Jadid. The aim of this research is to know the discovery learning method in fiqh subjects and to determine the development and effectiveness of the discovery method learning in fiqh subjects at MA Nurul Jadid. This research is a qualitative research. Approaches and types used is descriptive research. Descriptive research is a form of research intended to describe or describe phenomena well with make a description of the problems identified. Technique Data collection here is through interviews structured, observation, passive participants and documentation. Analysis data by collecting data, data reduction process, presentation data as well as withdrawal/verification or what is called a conclusion. The data checking technique uses degree criteria trust, transferability, luck and certainty. The results of research conducted by researchers include: The implementation of discovery learning begins with providing a stimulus and questions about the material on ijtihad and madzhab in the book In the second class XII fiqh lesson, student learning outcomes were higher than before using the discovery learning method.

Abstract

General Background: Education plays a central role in shaping knowledgeable and skilled generations, but traditional lecture-based methods often limit student engagement. Specific Background: In Islamic law (Fiqh) learning, students frequently face difficulties understanding abstract concepts, leading to boredom and low motivation. Knowledge Gap: While flashcards have been widely used in subjects such as vocabulary acquisition, their application in Fiqh learning, especially to enhance both understanding and engagement, remains underexplored. Aims: This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of flashcard learning media in improving cognitive understanding and active participation of Grade VII students in Fiqh at MTs Nurul Jadid Paiton and MTs Darul Falah Cermee. Results: Using a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, the findings reveal that flashcards significantly enhance student activeness, motivation, and comprehension of Fiqh concepts, particularly in recalling and applying abstract terms. Novelty: Unlike prior studies that focused only on cognitive gains, this research highlights the dual impact of flashcards on both understanding and engagement, tested across two institutions with different contexts. Implications: The study suggests that flashcards are not merely supplementary tools but a transformative strategy for making Fiqh learning more interactive, participative, and effective, offering a model applicable to other abstract-oriented subjects.Highlight : Flashcards help simplify abstract fiqh material. The strategy increases student activeness and motivation. Participation with flashcards improves comprehension and memory. Abstract

Fiqh learning often faces challenges such as monotonous lecture methods and an unconducive classroom atmosphere, which can lead to student boredom and low engagement. To overcome this, flash card media is used as an innovative learning tool because it can simplify abstract concepts, attract attention, and make the learning process more interactive and enjoyable. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach in two madrasahs: MTs Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo and MTs Darul Falah Cermee Bondowoso. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's techniques (data reduction, display, and verification). The results indicate that flash cards emerge as a solution to dull learning sessions. This media has proven to increase students' activeness and understanding, especially in recalling fiqh concepts. The strategy involves students directly in the creation and usage of the cards in a flexible and participative manner

Abstract

Social media addiction is a global issue and has become a prevalent habit, especially among teenagers. Social media addiction can be observed through the communication patterns in families. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between family communication patterns and social media addiction in adolescents. This study employs a descriptive correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consists of 250 respondents selected through stratified random sampling. The measurement tools used are the Revised Family Communication Pattern questionnaire for family communication patterns and the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale for social media addiction. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. Result: the majority of respondents have a family communication pattern by conversation orientation, totaling 154 respondents (61.6%). The majority of respondents in social media addiction variable are at the allert level, totaling 135 respondents (54%). Statistical test results show a significant relationship between family communication patterns and social media adiksiion in adolescents (p value 0.00 < α 0.05). Conclusion Family communication patterns have a meaningful relationship with social media adiction. Therefore, families need to give special attention to their communication patterns with their children, as the impact significantly influences the character development of adolescents.
