Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan karakter dan keterampilan siswa. Di era modern, kreativitas menjadi kompetensi esensial yang perlu dikembangkan sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas IV di SDN 39 Ampenan melalui seni kerajinan tangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan daur ulang, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, yorkshop dan kelas kreatif, serta kompetisi dan pameran secara signifikan meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, keterampilan motorik halus, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan pemecahan masalah Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menghasilkan modul pembelajaran seni kerajinan tangan yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam bidang pendidikan dengan menyediakan panduan praktis bagi guru untuk mengintegrasikan seni kerajinan tangan ke dalam kurikulum sekolah. Kata Kunci: Kreativitas Siswa, Seni Kerajinan Tangan, Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Bahan Daur Ulang, Pendidikan Dasar Abstract Education plays a crucial role in the development of students' character and skills. In the modern era, creativity has become an essential competency that needs to be fostered from an early age. This study aims to examine effective strategies for enhancing the creativity of fourth-grade students at SDN 39 Ampenan through arts and crafts. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the use of recycled materials, project-based learning, workshops and creative classes, as well as competitions and exhibitions, significantly enhance students' creativity, fine motor skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, this study produced an arts and crafts leaming module that can be used by teachers to boost students' creativity. This research makes an important contribution to the field of education by providing practical guidelines for teachers to integrate arts and crafts into the school curriculum education.
