Abstract

Effective project management planning is a key element in the success of a project. Among the stages of project management, scheduling activities has an important role in ensuring the project runs according to plan. One of the methods used in determining the optimal time of project work is the Critical Path Method (CPM), which helps in calculating the estimated time of each activity and determining the critical path of the project. This study aims to examine the planning and implementation of the Field Work Practice Program at SMK Cendekia Batujajar, focusing on time management and constraints that may occur. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation and document analysis related to the planning and implementation of PKL at SMK Cendekia Batujajar. The results showed that the planning of the PKL program has been carried out based on government regulations and industry needs, with details of activities that have been compiled in the schedule. Through CPM analysis, the estimated project completion time is 242 days, with the identification of critical paths that must be considered in maintaining the project schedule. Based on the analysis, the planning of the PKL program at SMK Cendekia Batujajar has been carried out in a detailed and systematic manner, with the use of the CPM method to identify the critical path. However, challenges in time management and other constraints need to be considered in the implementation of the PKL project at the school.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the quality of tumbler products at PT Bintang Mitra Kencana and identify factors that influence the occurrence of defects in products. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive research design. Data was collected through documentation and interviews with two informants who were the General Director and production staff at the company. This research uses several Seven Tools quality control tools (check sheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, control charts, scatter diagrams, stratification diagrams, and cause-and-effect diagrams), as well as attribute control charts (P Chart). The research results show that the most common defects in tumbler products in the company are powder pest defects. Factors that cause defects include a lack of understanding by the workforce regarding raw material care, a lack of clear methods and procedures in the production process, the use of wet raw materials, the use of poorly maintained machines, and an unclean storage environment. Several efforts to improve human factors require training and education for employees, increased supervision and monitoring during the production process. For method factors, it is necessary to develop clear operational standards and appropriate process parameters. For raw material factors, it is necessary to carry out proper drying and appropriate storage. For engine factors, it is necessary to carry out routine maintenance and periodic cleaning. And for environmental factors, it is necessary to arrange a suitable storage environment. By carrying out the recommended corrective actions, it is hoped that we can reduce the level of defects in tumbler products at PT Bintang Mitra Kencana and improve overall product quality.

Abstract

Lenkka Clothing Store is a business entity that operates in the online shop sector, especially in the sale of clothing products. With a main focus on the fashion industry. The data used in this study includes information on the purchase of trade goods or the supply of trade goods for Lenkka stores from two different convections, namely convections located in Majalengka and convections located in Bandung, other data includes sales volume, inventory costs, and other performance metrics from the period 2021 to 2023. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Method in improving inventory management efficiency at Lenkka Clothing Store by measuring its impact on item availability, storage costs, and customer satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research. In this case, the research will describe the application of the EOQ method in improving inventory management efficiency at Lenkka Clothing Store in Majalengka.The data shows that the application of the EOQ Method has resulted in a reduction in Total Inventory Cost (TIC), optimization of inventory levels through safety stock and reorder point adjustments, and an increase in sales volume. In addition, the application of the EOQ Method is also proven to increase overall sales volume. The results of this study provide a clear picture of the benefits gained from applying the EOQ Method in the context of online business. This can be seen with the number of purchases for the 2021-2022 period amounting to 3,446.46 with a frequency of purchasing trade goods 55 times a year, savings of IDR 368,948,524, safety stock of 24,959 pcs and ROP of 68,598 pcs. The purchase amount for the 2022-2023 period is 3,179.86 with a frequency of purchasing trade goods 59 times a year, savings of Rp 343,213,678, safety stock 10,212 pcs and ROP 59,562 pcs. Thus, this research provides a comprehensive overview of the effectiveness of the application of the EOQ Method in the context of inventory management in online clothing stores.

Abstract

Adanya produk cacat sejumlah 4.124.785 kg pada produksi teh hitam. Produk cacat tersebut berdampak terhadap penambahan waktu proses produksi, untuk cacat pelayuan tidak rata penambahan waktu sebanyak 4.980 menit, penggilingan tidak sempurna penambahan waktu sebanyak 513,5 menit, dan pengeringan tidak rata penambahan waktu sebanyak 135,744 menit. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dilakukanlah penelitian ini untuk mengurangi pemborosan waktu proses produksi pada produk teh hitam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa alat pengendalian kualitas Seven Tools (lembar pengecekan, histogram, diagram pareto, peta pengendali, diagram pencar, diagram stratifikasi dan diagram fishbone serta peta kendali atribut (P Chart). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecacatan yang paling banyak terjadi pada produk teh hitam di perusahaan adalah pada saat proses pelayuan. Faktor penyebab kecacatan meliputi pemetikan pucuk teh yang tidak seragam terdapat daun-daun teh yang tidak sesuai dengan kualifikasi, pekerja kurang disiplin atau kurang menerapkan SOP perusahaan, waktu pelayuan dan suhu pengeringan pada proses produksi teh hitam yang tidak konstan, mesin yang digunakan dibagian pengolahan masih dalam kondisi yang layak digunakan tetapi kondisi mesin sudah terbilang tua serta kurang perawatan sehingga dapat mengurangi kualitas dari teh yang dihasilkan

Abstract

This study examines the selection of the optimal camera for the photography and videography service company Assad ID using a combination of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The rapid development of the photography industry makes choosing the right camera a crucial factor in improving the quality of service. The weighting of criteria using AHP is based on the evaluation of photography and videography experts, including technical specifications, functional features, economic aspects, comfort, and supporting services. The TOPSIS method is applied to the ranking of five alternative cameras (Sony A7 III, Canon EOS R6, Nikon Z6 II, Panasonic Lumix S5, and Fujifilm X-T4). The results of the study show that technical specifications and functionality features have the highest weight. Sony A7 III ranked first with a preference value of 0.610, followed by Canon EOS R6 (0.581), Fujifilm X-T4 (0.472), Nikon Z6 II (0.401), and Panasonic Lumix S5 (0.368). This study proves the effectiveness of the AHP-TOPSIS method in making optimal camera purchase decisions and can be a reference for similar companies in determining the investment of photography and videography equipment according to operational needs

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis pengendalian kualitas pada produk Mie Lidi di UMKM Sukarasa Snack Kab. Tasikmalaya. Cacat yang dihasilkan selama proses produksi dan distribusi memiliki rata rata persentase 8% dengan estimasi kerugian finansial sebesar Rp. 93.002500 dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun seiring dengan penurunan produksi setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Mix Methods dengan menggunakan alat analisa data Seven Tools dan FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) yang bertujuan untuk mencari akar penyebab permasalahannya serta memberikan rekomendasi perbaikkan untuk produk UMKM Sukarasa. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa cacat produk tertinggi di bagi kedalam dua penyebab, pertama pada proses produksi dengan cacat remuk produk sebanyak 295 pack dengan persentase cacat 64%, kedua pada proses distribusi dengan cacat produk kemasan rusak sebanyak 285 pack dengan persentase 81% pada tahun 2023. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis, beberapa saran yang dapat diberikan untuk meningkatkan pengendalian kualitas produk, seperti menerapkan SOP secara tertulis dan tidak tertulis, misalnya pada saat sebelum mulai bekerja dilakukan brieffing Pelatihan tenaga kerja perlu diterapkan khususnya untuk tim produksi agar dapat mengurangi human error dan meningkatkan kompetensi kerja, sehingga akan berdampak pada kualitas produk yang sesuai dengan keinginan konsumen.
