Abstract

Tirik bamboo is one of the natural potentials of the Dayak Meratus community and is a key element in handicraft arts, especially arangan which is rich in historical value. Weaving or arangan is part of the life of the Dayak Meratus community, arangan is a patterned weaving, while the plain one is called woven. The motifs listed in arangan not only have aesthetic value, but also connotative meaning. But unfortunately, the creativity in the artistic spirit of the Meratus community has not been utilized optimally. This is due to the lack of public knowledge about the promotion and marketing of arangan products, and the reduced interest of young people to continue the heritage of arangan art can threaten the preservation of woven bamboo tirik as the identity of the local wisdom of Pembakulan Village. With this, community empowerment with the live-in method through a participatory approach was carried out, directly involving local communities and government agencies. Activities were carried out starting from conducting socialization and workshops for product innovation and promotion. Followed by a Forum Group Discussion that focused on increasing women's participation in preserving local wisdom. The policy of a Decree (SK) on the formation of a creative weaving group through the Trade Office of Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency is the final result of the program. With the establishment of cooperation between basket craftsmen and the Hulu Sungai Tengah Trade Office, it can open up opportunities for wider access to product marketing, while encouraging product innovation, and improving the economic welfare of basket craftsmen.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mekanisme penetapan upah pekerja kebun kelapa sawit Desa Rintik menurut perspektif ekonomi syariah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme penetapan upah pekerja kebun kelapa sawit di Desa Rintik belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan ekonomi syariah, baik pelaksanaan akadnya, prinsip adil maupun layak dalam memberikan upah. Pelaksanaan akad dilaksanakan secara lisan, setiap upah dan pekerjaan telah dijelaskan sebelum akad berlangsung. Upah pekerja diberikan sesuai dengan pekerjaan, namun khusus pemanenan buah upah yang diberikan tidak sebanding dengan apa yang dikerjakan dan tenaga yang dikeluarkan selama bekerja. Upah yang diterima pekerja belum bisa memenuhi kebutuhan akan sandang, pangan serta papan, dan hak pekerja kurang terpenuhi dengan baik. Berkaitan dengan besaran upah pekerja, tidak ada ketentuan dari pemerintah Desa Rintik yang mengatur tentang ketetapan besaran upah pekerja kebun kelapa sawit.

Abstract

Village groups have an important role in improving the welfare of village communities, developing the potential of the young generation, and strengthening solidarity at the village level. Village groups are the driving force needed to hold the key to community empowerment management. However, the village group in Pembakulan village has long been no longer running. In fact, with the existence of youth organizations and PKK, community integrity can be grown so as to overcome social problems such as poverty, low education, health, and low quality of human resources. Apart from that, it is also to increase partner empowerment with various activities held in collaboration with parties outside the village. For this reason, it is important to revitalize the Karang Taruna and PKK village groups. The number of participants who participated was 15 people. The service was held from July to September in Pembakulan Village, East Batang Alai District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. The method for implementing village group revitalization is using the live-in method through a participatory approach and directly involving local communities and government institutions. Implementation of activities begins with socialization and continues with a Forum Group Discussion which focuses on solidarity activities held in the village. The results of service activities show that the Pembakulan Village Karang Taruna group is able to understand and implement the function of village groups to create positive and sustainable change through involvement in activities for teenagers in the village to increase solidarity and a sense of social concern.
