Abstract

Filsafat menawarkan pemahaman mendalam tentang kebijaksanaan dan kebenaran. Dalam konteks Islam, konsep dakwah berfungsi untuk mengenalkan individu pada ajaran Islam dan mengkaji bagaimana ajaran tersebut mempengaruhi pergeseran nilai-nilai masyarakat. Kita dapat memahami keberadaan dan realitas ajaran agama yang mendasarinya yang bersumber dari Al-Qur'an dan Sunnah, serta bagaimana ajaran tersebut berhubungan dengan tantangan masyarakat saat ini, dengan menerapkan ontologi. Menemukan metode dan sumber informasi yang menghubungkan sains dan spiritualitas menjadi lebih mudah dengan epistemologi. Aksiologi, sebaliknya, menekankan pentingnya nilai dalam menilai penelitian, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan etika dan kebenaran. Secara keseluruhan, filosofi dakwah yang memadukan ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi menawarkan metode yang berhasil dalam memahami dan menyebarkan ajaran Islam secara lebih menyeluruh dan relevan bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Social media, particularly Instagram, has become a primary tool in digital marketing due to its ability to reach a wide and interactive audience. In Indonesia, Instagram is the second most popular platform, but research on its use to build brand awareness for small businesses in the mother and baby care sector is still limited. This study aims to analyze how the @babymomcarepakam account, a small business in Lubuk Pakam, utilizes Instagram to increase brand awareness. This qualitative study employs interviews with the business owner and five active followers of the @babymomcarepakam account, Instagram content observation, and analysis of posted documentation. Data was analyzed using an interactive model (reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing), with triangulation to ensure validity. The Instagram account @babymomcarepakam utilizes educational content, Reels, Stories, and responsive communication to build brand awareness. Visual consistency and active interaction enhance brand recognition and recall among the audience, with positive responses to service quality and competitive pricing. Instagram has proven effective in increasing brand awareness through consistent and consumer-centric content strategies, aligning with Robert F. Lauterborn's Marketing Mix Theory (4C) and Chris Heuer's Social Media Management Theory. Practically, small businesses can adopt similar strategies, such as collaborating with influencers and optimizing Instagram ads, to expand their reach. Theoretically, this study enriches digital marketing literature by highlighting Instagram's role in a specific sector, encouraging further exploration of other social media platforms. Abstract

This research aims to know and recognise the da'wah implementation at the Fajar education foundation in instilling Islamic values in residents of Dolok Masihul District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Fajar Education Foundation's da'wah is committed to instilling the value of Islamic values in Dolok Masihul residents through Da'wah Ammah, Da'wah bil Lisan, Da'wah bil Haal, Da'wah bil Hikmah by using the following approaches:  Education and Teaching: through formal and non-formal education about Islamic teachings to the community. Lectures and Discussions: Organizing lectures and discussions on religious topics to increase the understanding of the community. Lectures and discussions on spiritual matters at the Istiqomah ta'lim assembly at the mosque in Dolok Masihul sub-district, commemoration of Islamic holidays, and quarterly meetings in the community. Social and community activities: Engaging in social and community activities to practice the teachings of Islam in daily life. Through the recitation of mothers, fathers, and Mosque Youth or IRMI (Istiqomah Mosque Youth Association). Cultural Approach: cultural approach is one of the approaches that can shape a person's character better. The purpose of the Da'wah is to instil the value of Islamic values for citizens. Through this approach, religious values are born in the community through tawhid, Faith, Faith, worship, tolerance, honesty, and noble character toward fellow human beings. The approach taken by the Fajar Education Foundation is warmly welcomed and a positive response for the community, where it increases understanding and knowledge related to Islam.

Abstract

This article aims to present data on the impact of online game addiction and its implications for communication and self-management among students at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. Online games are internet-based games that can be widely accessed by anyone, anywhere. Their presence is now familiar to both children and adults. Along with technological advancements, online games continue to introduce new and engaging features that attract many users. However, excessive use can lead to addiction, which has negative implications for users. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews and documentation. The research subjects include five students and one guidance and counseling teacher at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. The results indicate that online game addiction affects several aspects of students’ lives. The impacts include physical health issues due to lack of activity, decreased learning motivation and academic achievement, changes in social interactions, psychological disturbances such as emotional instability, and even financial problems caused by spending money on gaming. Thus, online game addiction is not merely a matter of entertainment, but is closely related to students’ self-management—particularly in regulating their time, emotions, and academic responsibilities.
