Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assist the Aceh Kesbangpol in the research licensing service process to computerize the current system so that it can analyze and assist database processing activities at an even better level of effectiveness and efficiency, so that it is expected to be able to; designing and building a web-based research permit service information system at the Aceh Kesbangpol Agency, implementing a web-based research permit service information system with an integrated SMS Gateway, and producing more effective and efficient research permit service reports. The method used in this design is the waterfall method. Based on the results of research on the research permit service information system at the Aceh Kesbangpol Agency based on the web-based integrated SMS Gateway that has been carried out by the author, several conclusions can be drawn, namely; This research was successful in creating a web-based integrated information system research permission service with SMS Gateway. Abstract

This research aims to prepare natural coagulants from Angsana leaves (Pterocarpus indicus willd) for Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) treatment, especially reducing main variables such as TSS, COD, and pH. The amounts of 100 mesh Angsana powder (5, 10, 15, and 20 grams) were extracted using NaCl solvent with concentrations of 0.25 M and 0.5 M, respectively. The extract (200 mL) were added to 500 mL of POME and stirred (180 rpm) for 30 minutes. The concentrations of TSS, COD, and pH in POME were analyzed. Results showed that the coagulation-flocculation process using Angsana leaves powder was able to reduce COD by 55.79% at a coagulant dose of 5 g/L with 0.25 M NaCl solvent and TSS by 99.75% at a dose of 20 g/L with 0.25 M NaCl solvent. However, treatment using Angsana leaves extract was not able to reduce COD to the predetermined quality standard limits while the TSS value met the quality standard. Therefore, POME treatment still requires further processing.

Abstract

Transformasi digital di bidang pendidikan menjadi kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran, efektivitas manajemen sekolah, serta kesiapan peserta didik menghadapi era digital. SMA Negeri 5 Takengon menghadapi tantangan keterbatasan integrasi teknologi, pemanfaatan platform pembelajaran yang belum optimal, serta perlunya peningkatan literasi digital guru dan siswa. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan mewujudkan transformasi digital di SMA Negeri 5 Takengon melalui penerapan Platform EDU SMART sebagai solusi pembelajaran dan manajemen pendidikan berbasis digital. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan dan konfigurasi Platform EDU SMART, pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi guru dan tenaga kependidikan, serta implementasi platform dalam proses pembelajaran dan administrasi sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Platform EDU SMART mampu meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran, ditandai dengan meningkatnya interaksi guru dan siswa, kemudahan akses materi pembelajaran, serta pengelolaan tugas dan penilaian yang lebih terstruktur. Selain itu, kompetensi literasi digital guru dan siswa mengalami peningkatan, serta manajemen sekolah menjadi lebih efisien melalui digitalisasi data akademik dan administrasi. Respon pengguna terhadap platform tergolong positif, baik dari sisi kemudahan penggunaan maupun manfaat yang dirasakan. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya ekosistem pembelajaran digital yang berkelanjutan di SMA Negeri 5 Takengon, serta menjadi model implementasi transformasi digital bagi sekolah menengah lainnya. Kesimpulannya, penerapan Platform EDU SMART efektif dalam mendukung transformasi digital sekolah dan berkontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Liquid waste from the tofu industry is a significant source of water pollution, containing high levels of organic materials that can harm aquatic ecosystems. On the other hand, Coal-Fired Power Plants (CFPP) produce a large amount of bottom ash, which is still underutilized. This study aims to explore the potential of bottom ash from the Nagan Raya CFPP in Aceh as an economical and environmentally friendly alternative filter medium for treating tofu wastewater. The main focus is to evaluate the effectiveness of bottom ash in reducing Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), and neutralizing pH. The method employed is a quantitative experimental approach using a layered filtration system consisting of gravel, coir, sand, and bottom ash as the adsorbent. The contact time between the wastewater and the filter medium was varied for 2, 4, and 6 hours, with a control filter without bottom ash. Initial samples showed TSS levels of 560 mg/L and a pH of 3.8, which are far below the quality standards. The results indicate that the use of bottom ash significantly improves wastewater quality, with the highest TSS removal efficiency reaching 82.85% at a contact time of 6 hours, reducing TSS to 96 mg/L. The highest COD reduction occurred at a contact time of 2 hours, with an efficiency of 24.8%. Bottom ash was also effective in neutralizing the wastewater, raising the pH to a neutral range (6.2 – 7.0). These findings suggest that bottom ash from CFPP has great potential as a filter medium for tofu wastewater.
