Abstract

This study aims to analyze the alignment of life values contained in Surah Al-Maidah, verse 36, with the objectives of Islamic education. The verse teaches the importance of moral accountability, sincerity in repentance, and spiritual awareness, which can be applied in the learning process to shape students' character. The method used is a qualitative approach with thematic analysis of relevant tafsir and literature related to the research theme. The findings indicate that the values in Surah Al-Maidah, verse 36, are highly relevant to the principles of Islamic education, which emphasize the formation of noble character, social responsibility, and spiritual awareness. The implication of these findings is the importance of integrating these values into the Islamic education curriculum so that education focuses not only on intellectual aspects but also on shaping students' character with good morals and high spiritual awareness.

Abstract

This article examines the role of social sciences in constructing the narrative of Islamic moderation amid the rising trend of social polarization in contemporary society. Polarization, triggered by political dynamics, identity conflicts, and the rapid growth of digital media, has led to social fragmentation that threatens communal cohesion. In this context, social sciences play a significant role as analytical tools to understand the dynamics of conflict, identity construction, and power relations underlying such tensions. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, this study explores recent literature on Islamic moderation and social sciences. The findings reveal that Islamic moderation rooted in the values of tawassuth (middle path), tasamuh (tolerance), i’tidal (justice), and musawah (equality) can be enriched through theoretical frameworks from the social sciences, making it more relevant in addressing contemporary issues. The integration of both perspectives allows Islamic moderation to be understood not merely as a normative slogan, but as a social praxis that strengthens inclusivity, tolerance, and justice within the public sphere. This study underscores the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to reduce social polarization and to consolidate Islamic moderation as a foundation for peaceful religious and national life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada strategi bimbingan dan konseling guru untuk mengurangi kenakalan siswa melalui konseling individual. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah generasi remaja penerus bangsa yang diharapkan mampu membangun dan mengabdi pada negara. Penelitian ini memperjelas respon yang tepat melalui konseling individual kepada siswa dalam rangka mengurangi kenakalan siswa, berdasarkan batasan rumusan masalah apakah konseling individual dapat mengurangi kenakalan siswa, dimaksudkan untuk mendeskripsikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru bimbingan dan konseling. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan di sekolah untuk mengurangi kenakalan siswa adalah konseling individual, layanan informasi, dan konseling kelompok. Kegiatan orientasi dan konseling yang diberikan oleh pengawas dan konselor sangat efektif, hal ini terlihat pada perilaku siswa yang telah menjalani bimbingan
