Abstract

Color as a spatial dimension plays an important role in shaping human perception of the identity of a place. The urban public environment is usually characterized by crowds of people and many buildings. The color of the facade on the building which is not well planned makes it even more visually busy. This research aims to explore the identity of a place that can be seen from the color of building facades in urban public environments. The case study in this research is the public area of Jalan dr. Rajiman Surakarta. Even though it looks busy, researchers will try to map the colors of the existing facades by documenting the colors of the facades along Jalan Dr Radjiman from photos. This data is processed using graphic design applications and facade color mapping to find color patterns that lead to the identity of the place. The results of the research are that even though the area has busy building facades, based on the color of the facades, several color templates were found that show similar identities.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the condition of building quality by using the main principles of healthy buildings. The main principles of a Healthy building should be in good condition in three aspects, there are air circulation (air velocity and air temperature), humidity, and natural light intensity. The evaluation was conducted at Mochtar Riady Plaza Quantum (MRPQ), one of the Laboratory buildings at the Universitas Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia. The process is carried out by first analyzing the existing condition of the building and evaluating it with the standard of comfort in Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Then it will be determined which parts need to be improved and continued with the intervention using simulation software Dialux, Ansys, and Revit. It was found that this building had shortcomings in all three aspects of the healthy building, such as humidity levels above the standard 40-60%, lack of natural air velocity for air circulation, high air temperature, and low natural light intensity in corridors and auditoriums. The results of interventions in all three aspects of health could increase by 66.5% in air velocity for air circulation, reduce 13.3% in humidity, and increase by 78.2% in natural light intensity aspects.

Abstract

Penerapan konsep Green Open Space yang meliputi kondisi lokasi, pemanfaatan area, dan kelayakan elemen lanskap pada Taman Denggung sangat berpengaruh terhadap kenyamanan pengunjung. Maka dari itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan konsep Green Open Space pada Taman Denggung dengan menggunakan rating scale untuk mengetahui kelayakan elemen lanskap pada taman tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode rating scale dengan mengolah data kuantitatif ke dalam jawaban skala kualitatif yang telah ditentukan. Penentuan seluruh skor rating scale kelayakan elemen lanskap telah disesuaikan dengan hasil observasi, indikator capaian yang didapat melalui regulasi terkait RTH, dan wawancara dengan pengunjung. Hasil akhir dari skor rating scale menunjukkan bahwa beberapa elemen lanskap masuk ke dalam kategori "Kurang" sehingga perlu adanya perbaikan pada elemen lanskap yang mulai rusak, penambahan pencahayaan di beberapa titik taman, penambahan fasilitas kebersihan, toilet, dan parkir, serta peninjauan terhadap kondisi vegetasi taman.

Abstract

Perumahan MBR (Masyarakat Berpenghasilan Rendah) merupakan program dari Ditjen Perumahan Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) dalam upaya pemenuhan hak konstitusi warga negara dalam rangka pembangunan nasional penyediaan perumahan yang layak huni, sehat, dan terjangkau. Penelitian ini ditujukan sebagai bahan evaluasi dan komparasi melalui metode nonpenelitian. Di mana dalam penilitian ini dapat menganalisis beberapa faktor penyebab kendala selama proses konstruksi pembangunan rumah pada perumahan MBR, dan juga menghasilkan perencanaan desain fasad baru rumah MBR dengan penyesuaian iklim dan keterbatasan ruang pada Perumahan Grand Permata Ajung di Jember, Jawa Timur.
