Abstract

Gel preparations usually contain gelling agents which are critical factors that can affect the physical properties of the gel. The purpose to determine the appropriate variation of glucomannan concentration in the formulation of ascorbic acid gel on the physical characteristics of the gel. The research method began with the formulation of gel preparations using glucomannan as a gelling agent with variations in glucomannan concentrations at F1 (1%), F2 (1.5%) and F3 (2%). The gels were evaluated by their physical properties, including in the organoleptic, pH, homogeneity, adhesion, and spreadability tests. The research showed that in the pH and adhesiveness tests, increasing the concentration of glucomannan could increased the pH and adhesiveness of the gel. However, the spreadability of the gel decreased with increasing glucomannan concentration. The gel formula with 2% glucomannan concentration (F3) showed higher adhesion, as well as higher pH, although the gel spreadability decreased. From the evaluation results, all meet requirement for physically stable.

Abstract

Beluntas (Pluchea Indica Less.) secara tradisional digunakan untuk menghilangkan  bau badan, penurun demam, dan obat diare oleh masyarakat Sulawesi Utara. Tanaman ini memuliki potensi antioksidan yang telah diuji dari eksrak etanol dan fraksinasinya dengan menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis.  Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan cara maserasi dan uji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode DPPH (1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil). Hasil uji antioksidan ekstrak kental etanol daun beluntas dan fraksi-fraksinya menunjukkan bahwa fraksi etil asetat memiliki aktivitas antioksidan tertinggi (IC50 = 2,89 ppm), kemudian etanol (IC50 = 3,63 ppm), butanol (IC50 = 7,68 ppm) dan n-Heksan (IC50 =  88,24 ppm) sebagai pembanding dalampenelitian ini vitamin C (IC50 = 17,66 ppm) dan vitamin E (IC50 = 37,54 ppm).  Berdasarkan nilai AAI (Antioxidant Activity Index) dari hasil pengujian menunjukan ekstrak etanol, etil asetat, butanol dan vitamin C termasuk dalam kategori antioksidan sangat kuat, sedangkan esktrak n-Heksan termasuk dalam kategori antioksidan sedang dan vitamin E termasuk dalam kategori antioksidan kuat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in drug inventory management and their role in preventing fraud at Tikala Public Health Center (Puskesmas Tikala) in Manado City. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that AIS has been applied manually and semi-computerized, especially in the planning, receiving, storage, and distribution of medicines. Although not yet fully integrated digitally, the current system has helped enhance transparency and internal control. AIS plays a role in detecting potential fraud through proper record-keeping and regular monitoring. The main challenges in implementing AIS include limited human resources, inadequate technological infrastructure, and the absence of an official application system from the Health Department. This study recommends the development of an integrated system, regular staff training, and the enhancement of supporting infrastructure to ensure more effective and accountable drug inventory management.
